++Dance of the Moon and Sun

Might be nostalgia but + for You Could Have It So Much Better. Still listen to Outsiders and Walk Away in the car all the time.

++ For Electro Shock Blues and that album I have but don't have the right name for (third one top row)

++ for having the correct Godspeed You! album.

++ For knowing Led Zep is great and not succumbing to peer pressure.

++ Good
+ Return to the Sea. Don't see that in nearly enough charts (as in none before yours). Lots of ones I've never heard of on here that look worth checking out (aside from that Pokemon Super Music Collection...) so I'm saving yours. Could you tell me what #2 and 3 on the third row, and # 3 and 4 on the fourth row are?

what do you guys think?

E*vax - Parking Lot Music
Advance Base - A Shut In's Prayer

(also Pokemon music is the best)

name of forth in the third row?

Divine Styler - Spiral Walls Containing Autumns of Light
Caravan - In the Land of Grey and Pink
Rema-Rema - Wheel in the Roses
Junior Wells - Hoodoo Man Blues
El-P - Fantastic Damage
Grave Babies - Crusher
Aaron Dilloway - Modern Jester(?)

Thanks for getting back to me m8

We've got a patrician right here. Everybody take notes. Unironically.

thx i sure hope nobody thinks you're me h-haha

samefag mistaking the meanings of plebeian and patrician

Why is Fantastic Damage not on Spotify? It's amazing thanks for the rec.

be honest lads
how much of a pleb out of 10 am i

I'm not that guy. Already posted my chart on here.

EL-P is too underground.

...

what does Sup Forums think of my chart?

its good!

yo whattup

I imagine it's probably more to do with sample-clearance than him being 'too underground', same reason why there's no de la soul on there

This is my collection so far. Do your worst.

thank you

>feel like i've recced you a ton already x_x
>what's your favorite sacred bones record?
>the label seems cool but i've heard a few albums that were pretty underwhelming like tomorrow's hits and horribles parade by gary war.

i actually love horribles parade, all the cool phaser sounds are so much fun to listen to

flenser and bones are my favorite labels. fav album on flenser is deathconciousness, on sacred bones is... bestial burden - pharmakon or the new uniform record. both super good, but i love everything on there (except the folk-y stuff)

>Hoodoo Man Blues
Awesome rec damn.

Pleb and patrician are states of mind, my friend. The more you listen to music purely based on what you enjoy and the less you care and let other people influence what you like, the more patrician you are.

are we just gonna ignore how a mod moved a chart thread to r9k yesterday for no fucking reason

That pissed me off too

...

Checked both of these out, both breddy good

Was there already another chart thread up when that thread was going on?

there were legit four chart threads open

1 album you think is good,
1 album you think is bad,
recommend me one to replace it.

That would explain it then.

People need to stop making chart threads while others exist just so they can be the OP to get recs.

Otori - I wanna be your noise
Degenerate Art Ensemble - The Bastress

The Midnight Eez - s/t
Rilo Kiley - The Execution of All Things

Simon Finns Pass the Distance niiiiiiiiiiice
check out Gastr Del Soul, it had Jim O’rourke, David Grubbs (Red Krayola, Codeine), and Jon McEntire(Tortoise)

that would not explain it
that was the oldest thread with the most replies
WHY was a music thread moved to a non music board

old chart. haven't updated it in like a year or two
not very impressed but i used to be a big helloween fan back when i was younger so that's cool.
gloss drop > mirrored t b h

bumppp

Have you heard Leaves turn inside you, Twoism, or frigid stars

Accidentally posted this in the wrong thread!

>twoism
>gets trips

What's the name of the album that has a guy with a red mask/paint on his face and it's similar to Planning For burial

...

i haven't posted here in a long time

...

...

Lingua Ignota - All Bitches Die

i really like tis list.
clipping - clppng

playing The Bastress right now, i love this !

ive been making these fucking shitty things for 5 years

trying to expand from hiphop/rap into alternative/indie and classic rock, pls suggest

pick better genres to expand into

I would say I have an interesting choice in music. Very obvious as to a specific genre. But I like to branch out into new shit. Recommend me some albums.

Here's a Psych-Rock Album that feels Led Zepplin-y (if you don't like it at first, I promise you that at least one of the tracks will click):

youtube.com/watch?v=CCDUdsOfxUc

Here's a great eighties rock album from a guy named Gary Moore:

youtube.com/watch?v=C6GV2iTtM-4

Here's a pretty well-hidden contemporary indie-folk-rock-a-maroo:

youtube.com/watch?v=xeiFfyswfxA&list=PLXUljbr4omEtRFjUP17rL6W_cPALIHlq7

And last but not least, here is a popular and good alt rock album from just about the turn of the century:

youtube.com/watch?v=Fw5QFXJKSHA&list=PLxFxE37MdYkfCjJaAHS1QxvbB3EilB8aJ

Take these gifts and run with them, my boy!

I want to bash your 16 year old head in with a rock

find an interesting album you like and work from there, otherwise you're gonna be stuck with a hodgepodge of indie pop and top 100 albums. like that

i would not say that about your indie pop, but i would recommend pavement, guided by voices, and silver jews

guided by voices, busdriver, sole, why? (anything anticon really)

cool taste, love seeing panopticon in there, would recommend jesu's 2013 album, anything by lupe de lupe

XTC

red house painters

Pretty nice,thanks

okay here's a recent top 100. pls r8 n h8

cool chart and you seem like a cool guy for responding to so many people
chinese football was a really weird and surprising find for me
i like your chart user you seem nice
5/10 chart, you're alright
seems kinda entry level but decent
you seem cool and not basic. good chart but put the album names on there my senpai
good chart. you should listen to Dalek.
excellent chart. i guess you're probably depressed and lonely by your choices.
hope things get better user

that's metal

appreciate it, I guess my op didn't make clear that I just got into this music recently

you're nicer than i am leaving compliments on Sup Forums :)

I love perfect hair too! at one point it was the best hip-hop I had ever found. my old charts are a lot cuter, got into metal over the summer and then went fishing for experimental rock the last few months

you should check out tortoise and stars of the lid if you haven't already (both conspicuous absences). also check out Hans Joachim Roedelius - Wenn der Sudwind Weht, it's a super cute progressive electronic album by a krautrock keyboardist (from Cluster)

what do you suggest?

I'll try that, I feel like everyone got into these albums in grade school and I'm just stumbling onto them

well I would expect entry level since I'm new to the music lol
