>yearly sci-fi flick
>yearly ww2 flick
>yearly dark and edgy superhero flick

What films did you enjoy?

My top three are Zootopia, Jungle Book and Rogue One even though I haven't seen it yet (I was going to Sup Forumscott it, but I heard its enjoyable)

>all Disney movies
>one he hasn't even seen
Is this some elaborate Disney shilling?

I didn't know that Zootopia was Disney but it made me all warm and fuzzy because it ends with the false-flagging Clinton sheep character in prison. The CGI in Jungle Book blew my mind as I don't watch the new movies much anymore.

It's been a pretty bad year for Hollywood films imo
Jungle Book, Neon Demon and probably Dr Strange desu senpai it was ok for capeshit
Haven't seen Hacksaw Ridge yet but everyone here is bumming over it so I might

Even the New York Times confirmed the shilling, Disney is just going insane with it

>even though I haven't seen it yet (I was going to Sup Forumscott it, but I heard its enjoyable)

>talks shit about others taste in movies
>proceeds to post nothing but disney shit

I wasn't that guy, I would almost never look down on somebody for their preferences.

>Even the New York Times confirmed the shilling,
Source?

...

Shin Godzilla
Hacksaw Ridge
The Wailing

>Shin Godzilla
RIP WHEN?

They don't even show this in Scandinavia.

...

well i guess you lucked out this time user

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
Hacksaw Ridge
La La Land

>Rogue one
>Enjoyable
Wew lad prepare to be disappointed. I recommend showing up an hour late to your screening.

The Wailing
Eyes of my Mother
The Witch

Midnight Special
Arrival

Nothing else comes to mind. Haven't seen many this year.

Also accompanied by great scores

As a eurocuck who hasn't seen Hacksaw Ridge yet can someone liken it to another war movie. Like what should I expect? Fury? Saving private ryan? Flags of our fathers? I'm pretty hyped because Gibson has never directed a bad movie.

You can go and watch it? It's a fairly hard to compare it to other WW2 films. It's more in line with Gibson's previous works than other WW2 movies.

>People actually fell for this

Mines BvS, wiener dog and the wailing

It's already out you dumb gypsey

Going by the scores I gave movies.

I loved Arrival, Noctuenal Animals and Batman v Superman

what a terrible taste.

Handmaiden
La La Land
Sing Street

What film had the best music score?

A Bride for Rip Van Winkle
The Handmaiden
13 Hours

Not great, not terrible.

1. American Honey
2. Little Sister
3. Sully

three seems like an arbitrary number, but whatever

The Childhood of a Leader for sure

One third corny drama, two thirds Letters from Iwo Jima with more gore, explosions and cinematic flare.

Jesus Christ.

Why is Japan so comfy...

Is that picture from a movie

1.Hell or High Water
2.Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
3.Captain America: Civil War

Not even memeing

10/10

Hacksaw Ridge
Hell or High Water
13 Hours

yeah, pretty gud

I mean the ultimate edition of BvS, of course.

Allied

who got the quads?

Pedantic and slow culture + post-bubble economy low budget industry = most comfy films on Earth.

The picture is probably from Evangelion special features or something.

ITT: baiting and hooking

Sorry user, it's not a joke anymore. Most people here think capeshit is good.

...

u a pedo?

Oh shit, never made it inside a theater this year.

Bryan Singer is that you?

It's a bit early, considering a lot of films (like half of all Oscar nominations) don't get public releases before after award season.
Here's current top 5, cause why the fuck not:
>The Witch
>Green Room
>Arrival
>The Handmaiden
>If There's A Hell Below

>hell or high water
>nocturnal animals
>bvs

completely serious

Solid choices

Hacksaw Ridge
Hell or High Water
Knight of Cups

1. Arrival
2. Nocturnal Animals
3. Hell or High Water

Nocturnal animals, neon demon and either BvS or Hardcore Henry

Arrival
Nocturnal Animals
Elle

Popcorn KINO: BvS, Nice Guys and Hardcore Henry

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children is shure the best movie of 2016, Asa was amazing on it.

>All these bvs picks

The handmaiden
The salesman
Graduation

...

What's the one in the middle?
Also, quads checked.

Sup Forums is retard meme central what did you expect?

Only one for me this year

vulgar auteur sheeps from letterboxd sucking the brazilian mantit.

I keep seeing new BvS posters, where do you guys get them?

Every time I console myself into thinking that all the adoration for BvS is just ironic meme shitting I'm reminded that Sup Forums is actually full of tweens who think Batman V Superman is unironically a deep, misunderstood masterpiece. You guys are fucking stupid.

Shin Godzilla
The VVitch
Either Neon Demon or Arrival

Please stay in the Rogue One threads, Mickey.

knight of cups came out in like 2013

The ultimate version is pretty rad.

Explains everything better and the cuts arent all short like the theatre version. It is almost 4 hours long.

it's three hours and two minutes, moron

Shin Godzilla
Hacksaw Ridge
Star Trek Beyond

>if you aren't a mouthbreather that praises a terrible movie like BvS you're a disney shill!
try again, I thought TFA was mediocre at best and couldn't give a fuck less about most Marvel films. I didn't even think MoS was as bad as everyone said but BvS is one of the worst superhero movies I've ever seen.

I could have seen Rogue One before release for free but I didn't because I don't fucking care.

I agree, the movie only seems good when compared with marlel/disney trash, but it's actually a deeply flawed movie when looked objectively

Yep, this is the only movie I thoroughly enjoyed this year. Excellent script and acting.

Me thinketh the lady doth protesteth to much

>waifufags

Going with top 5 because they're all just too fantastic

whats the middle one?

I for one, unironically and unmemely, agree with these choices and hereby proclaim this post patrician

Evening Glow Over, a short film by Adam Cloutier. you can find it on vimeo, if you're interested.

what the hell is going on?
BATMAN V SUPERMAN SUCKS HARD.

Crosscurrent

have you ever considered the possibility that not everyone shares your opinion

Nice quads.

Also nice taste desu

its to keep reddit away

>only logged 31 films from 2016
pretty slow year for me

From what I HAVE seen:
>BvS (unironically)
>Midnight Special
>Hunt for the Wilderpeople

nope, because Batman vs Superman is totally shit

"Except for bvs" you forgot to add

...

the lobster
the witch
arrival

1.Neon Demon
2.BvS
3.9 Lives

I agree

He's not wrong but carry on with your memes

Rester Vertical
Le fils de Joseph
Bezbog

P rad year.

Kill yourself my man
