I do think there is a substantial difference between the shaggs and the royal trux and the fact that people compare these bands goes to show how fucking the dumb the average Sup Forumstant it.
The shaggs were a band that represented in the most direct way the "free and naive spirit" of the hippy movement,and in that I do think they are among the best bands ever. I haven't heard much of godz,but I'll check them out.
On the other hand the royal trux represent the repugnant,disgusting and self-destructive side of the grunge generation. And they are almost to rock music what Schoenberg was to romantic music. Honestly stop comparing bands based on their superficial looks and try to listen to music like an adult for once,at least if your going to criticise someone who does listen to it that way(like scaruffi), you ignorant pieces of shit. If you only listen to music to "chill" that's fine,but some people don't,get used to it,asshole.
