Hello. I am compiling a playlist to nod off to. So far it contains the following:
>I only have eyes for you - the flamingos >little birdy - ween >melody - serge gainsbourg >gimme some salt - clap your hands say yeah >spoon - can >lanquidity - sun ra >inflexible authority - william s. burroughs >dream baby dream - suicide >pahari dhun - ravi shankar >india (slight return) - parson sound >good - morphine >carmelita - warren zevon* >echo, bravo - duster >chasing a bee - mercury rev >sister ray - tvu* >jennifer - faust >orange - the dandy warhols* >tocatta and fugue in d minor - bach* >search for delicious - panda bear >paradise circus - massive attack*
the ones with an asterisk are those I am thinking of removing. Any suggestions?
Heroin by the Velvet Underground? Probably the most cliché thing in the world, but it's a great song.
Lucas Fisher
I only want one TVU song on the playlist. I might actually take off sister ray and replace with one of the versions of "we're gonna have a real good time together" from the matrix tapes. The repetitive "na na na na"s are incredibly narcotic
Parker Allen
sort yourself out, unironically
Wyatt Martinez
this
Kayden Hill
wow you've changed my life, thanks. I know heroin is not healthy, guys. That's pretty irrelevant to this thread
Pretty good. I'm more looking for music that feels like a smack nod and not exclusively music that mentions the drug
Liam Rodriguez
My Warm Blood by The Microphones is getting a spot, forgot about that one
Blake Gray
Go towards the light. I know its hard.
Jack Morris
No. Stop doing heroin.
Brayden Hernandez
shit, I guess this isn't going anywhere. off to do more heroin then
Jeremiah Williams
Everyone telling you to stop don't know what they're missing.
Parker Wood
weak-willed. You are better than this. I have never done heroin and never will. But if you're going to die might as well have a glimpse of ethereal art on the way out:
Yeah. I'm sure feeling self righteous is fun but at the end of the day it will never beat out heroin. Music + drugs go hand in hand and I love making a good playlist, but alas when you give people a chance to to give advice they will snatch it up faster than any junkie reaches for a spike
Kevin Long
sue - the brian jonestown massacre most of the songs from "is the is are" by diiv
heroin addicts all the same, they have predictably pretentious taste, often make allusions to how they listen to "real" music . william s burroughs and ravi shankar ended up on the list did you think that would give you some eclecticism points,?
Bentley Sanchez
>chasing a bee - mercury rev excellent choice
Wyatt Brown
Hey OP phones ringing It’s your friends They’re saying they miss you... What should I tell them?
Isaiah Hernandez
>saying this to a junkie
his friends dont miss him, theyre pissed about all the money he owes them and he flakes on everything anyways so fuck it
Jacob Myers
the beatles- happiness is a warm gun
Brandon Thompson
I missed mine... he’s gone now
Easton Reed
Bro you just described 80% of Sup Forums so either there's a lot of junkies on here, or you're a fucking retard, and I think the latter is much more likely
Also, y'all need to stop thinking your better then people, piss off or give the dude some recs ffs
John Peterson
you dont get it man, the music sounds way better if youve done heroin
Leo Stewart
It’s objectively relevant to the thread you made about heroin you idiot junkie. Quit
Ethan Phillips
>I know heroin is not healthy then don't do it sweetie. And unhealthy is a huge euphemism
>implying anyone cares about what music is on while taking heroin So...you larping like the majority of posters on this site? Or you're doing it for the first time so you genuinely have no clue at all?
Pretty sure most people telling you to stop know exactly what they are missing. Heroin wouldn't be so addictive if it didn't initially feel that good.
One more thing, I don't get why people recommend this song when the song musically and lyrically portrays someone who's mind/life goes continually more out of control and messy from repeated heroin use.
Blake Torres
Most people i know who used heroin (they’re all dead now) were really heavily into the Disco Biscuits. Who are 2018’s disco biscuits, Sup Forums?
what got you into heroin? imo once you pass into heroin and meth you've passed a point where help is now basically required. there's nothing really wrong with safer drugs like weed and psychedelics, but once you start taking heroin you start to involve other people with the very real chance of an overdose. the fact that you're getting to the nod off and not just doing opioids for the warm fuzzy feeling shows that you've been taking these for a while. please get help before you overdose and ruins your family's life.
Isaiah Hernandez
percoset counts if you've done a CWE, that's recreational drug use beyond the scope of most people who like painkillers
Asher Allen
not sure if its a great song to listen to while nodding off, but i think its THE most accurate representation of the sensation
It's actually pretty hard to OD on heroin as long as you can afford it/don't have a hard relapse. Do some research before you make empty judgements
Josiah Brooks
Miles Davis, any late 50s.early 60s jazz really
Zachary Stewart
Heroin seems to slowly turn everyone who does it into the same person. I can see the appeal. Complete abandonment of the self is very attractive if your life is a certain kind of shitty. You genuinely become a slave to it, your only desire is to score more and you don't really care who you fuck over to do it.
Hudson Garcia
I’m unironically triggered by this thread. I want to scream at op to stop Stop now and never do it again. I never told R. to stop and he’s gone now. Maybe if any of us had told him how much we missed having him around instead of just talking about it amongst ourselves he wouldnt be dead now. I wish i did something. I feel like he died thinking no one cared. Op please at least pretend you’ll stop. Hell, let any user reply and pretend to be OP quitting, I’ll take it.
This is not a dress rehearsal. This is your real life.
Josiah White
Try something off Massive Attacks first album Blue Lines instead of that awful Heligoland
Andrew Smith
Hey man, I just took LSD last night and had a wiiiild trip, and I think you should drop some acid, man, and like stop using those drugs and then never do LSD again, man.
Josiah White

Leo Phillips
>Nodding does not equal sleeping stop promoting something youve never done fucking loser.
Blake Lee
I remember his best friend’s speech at the funeral and how he couldn’t finish through the tears. I heard that kid died last year too
Christopher Murphy
Its very easy and there are different strains that are stronger than others. Stop promoting this shit, heroin is a horrible thing.
Joseph Green
Reported. These threads are disgusting.
Ryan Bennett
Its probably a russian psyop like how they got trump elected.
Jason Phillips

Warning: almost 12 hours later and music is hurting my ears. Don't do LSD, actually, it broke music.
