Korea will be in #10 very soon
I'm just curious how can this small country can be world economic power

How much of your GDP is samsung? 30%?

The products Samsung produce for a year probably account for more than 40% of Korea's GDP.

oilniggers need vessels and oil platforms
good job kim jong psy

It's actually 25%

Germany :)

>amerifat is still buttblasted that China is the world biggest economy so he continues to post useless nominal GDP

Italy :)

no, according to KDI(Korea Development Institute. To learn what it does, go to en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Korea_Development_Institute), it's actually more than 40%.

EU is dying market with too much protectionism and exclusivism. brits made the right call exiting. now they can join market that has good future

Because you count with hard working migrants.

It seems like it was just yesterday that people were making a big deal about China surpassing Japan's GDP. Now it's 2.5x the size.

yes and this is worthless thing.

this is was pathetic to read

because g*rmans are destroying all the others eu economies but their.

Holland is doing better desu

Why are Canada and Italy in the G7 if they are not into the top 7 economies?

This. Our immigrants aren't as hardworking.

Demography. The US has a young, dynamic base of consumers while Europe is literally a nursing home at this point.

I wonder why?!

Because our destiny is to absorb many different people and ideas through immigration while EU is too socialist and has the wrong kind of immigrants.

We will eventually fall behind China and we will eventually rise above China

Capital flight. They're paying way more than what these companies are worth so they have hard assets they can liquidate when everything goes to shit in China.

Japan did the same shit in the 80s lol

Japan doesn't have 1.4 billion people, only 120 and yet they challenged us in the 80's who had the 2-3 time more pop, the chinese interior market is enough to make them the first World economy.

China is already the first exporting country in the world, the first gdp PPP, the own who own the debt / foreign assets etc.

It's not a matter of decades but years before no one contest China as n1.

Why don't Korean economists try to decrease that?

too many chinks
int has turned into an azn sub on leddit

Americans also continue to grow larger

China literally doesn't have a demography that can support consumption-driven growth. The populations of the interior are dirt-poor and aging as fast as the rest of the country.

India can challenge China.

Why are americans on this board always armchair economists? Why is it so hard for them to accept that their economy has and will continue to stagnate?

They live better than Americans though.

...

We experience pretty consistent growth. 2% a year on average over a decade is nothing to scoff at for a developed country.

Europoor economies will stagnate. America will continue growing and leave y'all in the dust.

America is not and won't stagnate

>America is growing at a rapid rate

I don't care what you say but there must be some currency or number manipulation.

Nope, my jealous British friend.

Because that's your shit states growing

>number manipulation
We're manipulating the number of babies being born via intercourse with women.

>China grew by 7% last year
>Building up their military
>Starting to contest the Russian border.

Wew lads
