Dunno, but I have a fun fact. That building was built by a really rich guy in the beggining of the 20th century, he built a sister building in Montevideo, Uruguay's capital city. They both used to have a lighthouse-like light at the top, which would point at each other therefore creating a symbolic "bridge of light" uniting both cities across the La Plata river.

Yeah, it's not really well mantained. Going to Montevideo really made me appreciate how well we maintain our historical buildings/landmarks in Buenos Aires. I honestly think it's the most beautiful city of south america.

Judging by the google street view only, a lot of old beautiful buildings are ruined by graffiti and poor maintenance. But graffiti that's just said. Montevideo seems a lot worse in that regard, but looks like BsAs has that problem too. Authorities should introduce steep fines or something to stop that shit.

Yeah we have a big graffiti problem, mainly because of the growth of tagging and hip-hop culture (thanks USA). But even if we are not in first world levels of building manteinance I assure you there has been a considerable improvement comparing to the 90s, mainly thanks to Macri, our last mayor who is now the President. There's still a lot to be done but i am actually content with the city government, Macri was a really good mayor. not so great as a president tho.
