ETIQUETTE - Include correct format (artist / band, title of release, year of release, cover art, the file type (v0, 320 mp3, FLAC, etc), short description, YouTube sample, link) - Send thanks if you have downloaded something to let them know they did a good thing - Avoid sharing / requesting things that are already on the archive - Soulseek / rutracker are your friends, too - just don't argue in this thread about it
REQUESTS >I have a request! Did I... - Check the archive for a live link before requesting? - Share something first? - Google "blogspot + artist name + album name"
ARCHIVE >"I don't know how to find what I'm looking for in the archive" - Go here: >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> archive.rebeccablacktech.com/mu/ - When searching, limit your search to links only, like so: "desired album mega|zippyshare|mediafire" - Make sure you've typed "zippyshare" and not "zippy", or else Zippyshare links will not be found.
Oh Lord and I Feel So Fine are essentials. I touched it up a bit, mostly converting to Mono so it doesn't kill your left ear drum. Some versions come with an interview, not this one though. I did make a pretty neat looking cover though.
Is anyone else experiencing a glitch with Deezloader where every song they download is this? Even if you download an album and it says the track names in the file, they still come out as this shit and it's really fucking annoying.
Owen Phillips
great shares. thanks b

I quite enjoyed these. Thank you.
By any chance, does anyone have susquatch's Toy Box Brain (2011)? I've tried everything, to no avail. I've been watching slsk for the past few days, too, but no one seems to have it.

One of his softer, rock sampling releases like Aqua Necromancer or Merzbeat. Sha Mo 300 was his first release in South America and samples Brazilian psychedelic artists like Lula Côrtes & Zé Ramalho and Módulo 1000.
Includes the two bonus tracks from the boxset edition.
Hey guys, hoping someone can help me find an album that was shared in a sharethread years ago.
It's a ska album, the artist or the album title was something like "The Young & Reckless" or something like that. The album art was yellow/tan and was a drawing of someone pointing a shotgun out of a car window at someone in a toll booth I think. It had a song on it that had "At my own expense...makes no sense" in part of it.
Sorry I don't have more info or anything unique to share right now, but I would greatly appreciate if someone could help me out.

The Headhunters - Straight At The Gate (1977) >more of the same funky/jazz, still nice >320
Zabelle Panosian - I Am Servant of Your Voice: April-May, 1917 (2017) >world, armenian, rembetika, 78rpm >Zabelle (sometimes Zabella) Panosian was born in Bardizag (present-day Bahçecik, Turkey) on June 7, 1891. She emigrated to the U.S. in April 1896... In April, 1917, she recorded five songs in Columbia’s studios in the Woolworth building on Broadway and was given the exceptional luxury of recording as many as seven takes during her recording sessions. It was common practice to record no more than three takes of any given performance by immigrant musicians, and the vast majority of recordings for Columbia's E (ethnic) series were made in one or two takes. requesting Keiji Haino - Black Blues (violent/electric version). All the links seem to be down, and I can only find the acoustic version.
Thanks lads, sorry I don't have anything to share myself
just a question, do people listen to J/K-Pop ironically?
Thomas Johnson
No problem! anyone who says they listen to something "ironically" is lying, because they actually love it but want to pretend they don't. I don't have any guilty pleasures or listen to anything ironically, whatever sounds good to me, i'll say i enjoy it.
Benjamin Perry
I listen to f(x) and IU. Love them

Does anyone have Hate in Me by Moss Icon? The only Moss Icon in the archive is Lyburnum.
Michael Sanchez
I don't think so, i thought that Mike Clark, the drummer, was the only white guy in the band, i don't know who that is.
Colton Allen
I mean, I could google it but I just thought it looked like him, although I don't trust my memory anymore. Zawinall was in Weather Report so same scene. I don't really care for a lot of fusion but HH and Sweetnighter by WR are pretty cool.

I'll tell you one thing -- I'm no longer ashamed of my inability to ''get into" jazz. I'm old enough now to realize that the problem is not the fact that I don't play any brass instruments, nor that I grew up surrounded by the sounds of rock and roll -- the reason that I dislike this music so much is because of all the soloing. To me, sitting down and listening to some asshole bleat, blat and bloop 4000 notes in no particular order on top of mediocre jazz chord sequences is no more a sign of 'cultured taste' than listening to a Joe Satriani album. Both styles of music are completely self-indulgent, violate nearly every rule of musical composition that I respect, and bore the living loving maid out of me.

The Sky Calls to Us - Content With Simple Existence >IDM, Post-Rock, Industrial >Long, flowing concept album, every track falls into the next
hell yeah. Far too little Gil and brian on this forum. Bit of a shame that pitchfork just blew up Winter in America. I liked that album being a quiet treasure.
Gavin Sanders
yeah, generic sweeping statements rarely work out. to each their own, but come on b. obviously there's more to the genre than hard bop.

Is Deezloader finally kill? When I try to download something with the latest version the program just closes. I tried using an older release and it doesn't close but no files get downloaded.
Isaac Carter
Looks that way friendo. Using 2.1.2 here and getting the same problem. At least slsk is still an option.
