From my job, I make $18 per hour.
From the government, I get $500 per month for studying (free money).

My total income averages out yearly at something like $1800 per month.

When I have finished my studies, I am expected to get a starting salary of $4200 per month, with a rather steep curve following it.

Life is rather good to me.

Which field? And how much of this will be left after taxes?

>Which field?

My degree will be in industrial engineering (M.Sc.Eng.). The net will be $3000, if we're talking income tax.

Nice nice, lucky you. How are real estate prices in Sweden? Are they as fucked as here (you literally won't find a tiny appartment

>Flag
>Code monkey
>700€ per month

They're various degrees of fucked, depending on where you look. It's the worst near the capital. But they're not nearly as fucked as on the continent, to be honest. You can still get a cozy house in the vicinity of a major city for a reasonable price, if you have some patience. Or you make sacrifices.

This house is about 400k euro. It's semi-detached, and inside the Stockholm metropolitan area. Not too bad, honestly. But I wouldn't want to live there, personally. I'd prefer a house in a more prime location, in which case it gets Swiss tier I suppose.

svenskamaklarhuset.se/objekt/?gid=OBJ24548_1550148086#allabilder

There are lots of interesting properties in countryside however. You can literally find huge mansions for the same kind of money, if you're willing to live near a small to mid tier city instead of near the capital.

Those are some decent savings. Just make sure to invest it properly and secure your future. Get a proper education, if that's your thing. If not, look into some other trade.

Oh OK I see...am I right to assume that Stockholm basically is the Sodom and Gomorrha of Sweden (e.g. full of leftards, cucks and SJW)? Only been to Malmö once and it was shit.

If I were you I'd probably just rent a small studio in the city and then buy a house/lodge out in the countryside to spend my weekends...

What's there to explain? An average wage outside of Moscow is 340$.
Being a mechanical engineer (master's degree) with little to no experience it's impossible to get more than 200$. With 3 to 5 years years experience I will get around 250$ with a perspective for a raise up to 320$ in a few years.

Food is 150$
Rent is 35-40$
If you're lucky by the end of the month you'll break even.

If I will move to Moscow and get lucky with a job there I will get around 850$ a month.

Why are you guys so poor? Russia is a very powerful country, you have half the continent for yourselves. Redpill me on this. I've always known that Russia is poor, but didn't realize how bad it was, and nobody actually explained it to me.

The main reason is Putin. He created a system in which corruption reached unimaginable proportions and 99% of the country's wealth belonged to 1% of the population - to his friends. For the same reason, 20% of the country's population generally live below the poverty line.
