Why does everyone on Sup Forums speak English so well?

We don't actually
Actually we don't

Which is accurate above?
your country really did a number on the world
I'm an English teacher, nobody in this country is able to speak any English at all
All of them.
>speak
>communicate by written word which is probably checked by their browser for spelling and grammar before posting
...
Yanks are bad at spelling

I never learned English IRL, feels bad man.
...
Juan, your people speak pretty shitty English as well.
couloueure
I reckon it's because Sup Forums became famous for its anglo-centric endeavours. That attracted people worldwide who (somewhat regularly) consumed anglo media
To do so one must either be rather fluent in the language(otherwise why would you be looking at anglo memes)
Also, remember english is the world's lingua franca. Most first world urbanites already speak it, and those regularly consuming anglo media do it better,
Finally, regardless of what it might seem like, the average user has a certain edge. Some wit and intelligence above the average man
Truth is, we are all just yankees in vacation
Most of the "Japanese" people on Sup Forums are actually Americans using VPNs.
>the average user has a certain edge. Some wit and intelligence above the average man
For example
The last one needs a comma.
> Actually, we don't.
The second one also needs a comma.
>We don't, actually.
All are correct but the first one is the most natural.
>the average user has a certain edge. Some wit and intelligence above the average man
Do you consider conspiracist worldviews of the Sup Forums kind to be the sign of a particularly smart community of people?
why do anglospeakers suck at learning languages
the few real japs are easily noticeable from their broken grammar and not being an obvious ameritard like
All correct
Not on here
not one of us is speaking
That's not true, there are many people here (me included) who doesn't speak it well.
>Finally, regardless of what it might seem like, the average user has a certain edge. Some wit and intelligence above the average man
If you're so smart, what are you doing in Honduras?
Stop posting, then, we have a reputation to maintain.
all of them. You might use a different one for a different inflection
I never claimed Sup Forums was a genuine website for geniuses, Just that the average cocker here is genuinely not as dumb as we might think
That's what I tell myself every night
>Not on here
hurr durr hurr
*drops slurp*
Yanks are just bad in general
But yo no
Me neither.
I feel like I'm not as bad at writing as I used to be a few years ago, but that I'm still far from attaining an acceptable level of competence in English language.
There's a lot of topics regarding grammar that I still don't feel comfortable with, and that render me unable to communicate ideas in an effective way.
A mi me vale verga el inglés
Puto el que lo lea
You mean American?
Sup Forums lmao
You need to start reading books instead of media. Your vocabulary will never improve if you just consume media because it targets the average burger (aka 12 year old state of mind)
Not true
dunno, I make a lot of mistakes and my vocabulary is still somewhat limited.
So true
You the bad teeth with very muslim haha
>be native English speaker
>don't know the difference between your and you're
>don't know the difference between there, their and they're
>don't know the difference between its and it's
>don't know the difference between then and than
>don't know the difference between to and too
>don't know the difference between plural and genitive
>don't know the difference between adjective and adverb
>don't know how to spell simple words
>don't know how to properly use punctuation
>unironically use the phrases "should of" or "would of"
>mix up simple past and past perfect most of the time
Are you guys even going to school? Honest question. Really...
Most of you seem to be devastatingly stupid and utterly uneducated. It wouldn't even take one minute for me to find one sentence of an English native speaker containing one of these mistakes I've listed above while browsing Sup Forums, reddit, etc.
If I compare this to native German speakers, I'll only be able to find people who don't know the difference between "das" and "dass", "seit" and "seid" or where to set commas, but this kind of stuff is marginal, although equally annoying.
>anglo memes
Psh, INFERIOR.
my grammar doesn't improvement since highschool (2011) that sucks fart
you raise good points but your condescending attitude makes me not want to engage in a meaningful discussion with you
I'll guess I should make the effort to read a book in English, but I fear that my attention span won't allow me to go through it until reaching the end. For that reason I've read web articles until now.
The average user is an edgy retarded worthless bastard whose only knowledge of the world is from memes and """redpilled""" videos, and Sup Forums is not for "intelligent" people.
i only type it well, and i use google translate a lot
i use google translate tbqh
We're all just Americans using vpns to roleplay
I got to get better at pronouncing words
>being afraid of getting your feelings hurt
i also want to be good at speaking but there's no opportunity.
Yes? "Conspiracism" (strawman) requires enough intelligence to question and be skeptical of "official truths", mass media narratives and so on. Your average retard lacks that capability.
When I first visited Sup Forums or Sup Forums in general my TOEIC score was around 750 and could barely understand what you guys were talking about in English.
4 years later, I finally got 990 this June. I'm now a meme master.
me not can speak language of england peoples
It makes me proud when someone calls me an English teacher on proxy or David-kun. Thank you.
my englando is of no good. please kill
You speak English as your first language anyway.
Don't be proud; you're fucking pathetic.
We do?
Yeah I guess we are doing fine at TYPING in English...
When it comes to SPEAKING it on the other hand...
the struggle of a larger european country where you'll rarely encounter strangers outside of cities and where all murrican movies and shows get dubbed
It must be hard for Euros on Sup Forums to realize that there are people in fucking Honduras and El Salvador who speak better English than them.
Kit idézel?
Ha nem mondod el hogy kit idézel, akkor sajnos meg kell kérnelek arra hogy távozz
delet this
Never should of come here
constant practice. you meant "write" though. talking irl is another story.
*hhhyaaahhhhguhh*
>don't know the difference between your and you're
>don't know the difference between there, their and they're
desu I think you become fluent in english when you start making these mistakes, you write your reply quickly and don't think about how to structure your sentences and such mistakes happen.
What's hard is to not cringe when a third worlder takes pride in speaking a foreign language better than a first worlder
>don't know the difference between your and you're
>don't know the difference between there, their and they're
it's a meme hans
lol no
How do I improve my English boys? I can practice writing and reading on my own but what about speaking. Any tips?
Well why shouldn't they be able to?
rare
neuschwuchtel
my job is translating english but i'm worse than many 3rd worlders here at making sentences. and my spoken english is barely understandable. fuck this dumb language anyway
