>2814
>vaporwave

definitely my favorite

this is literally perfect and the peak of the genre

this isn't vaporwave either

>making 'that isn't REAL _____" posts on Sup Forums

it's about as vaporwave sonically/aesthetically as it is shoegaze, I would classify it as ambient or something (and better than any vaporwave ever made)

this is what vaporwave sounds like

no one died and made you arbiter of vaporwave
it's an incredibly vague umbrella term for a made-up genre and many styles fit under it without assholes like you going around marginalizing everything

these are good

That's one of my top 10 albums and no other vaporwave release ever came close at all.

its jus me agains da wurld bebe

I have to go with the Classic, it remains the GOAT vaporwave release

Wtf people literally take vaporwave seriously? I mean I like some songs but I can't imagine listening to albums of it.

That's because you're not that into music

why use the WRONG album cover?

(ps: holy shit my first post after 2 years)

only right answer

If you took away the album covers I doubt anyone would actually consider these vaporwave. I'm convinced 90% of this genre comes from the colors the artist choose to label his shit with.

...

superior

...

vaporwave isn't for people who are "that into music"

So who's listening to all of these whole albums?

plebs and 16 year olds

...

Except 90% of vaporwave is some of the most obscure music out there. Of course you wouldn't know that because all you've listened to is macintosh plus and 2814 and you're just another pitchfork/anthony fantano drone who only listens to flavor of the month shit.

Forever Banshee

that doesn't mean it's for well informed, knowledgeable people

obscure doesn't mean deep

>still no Surfing in this thread

What the fuck?

youtu.be/-Fh3wTcC_cg

yes

>and you're just another pitchfork/anthony fantano drone who only listens to flavor of the month shit.
you're projecting hard there buddy

not vaporwave

imo the cassette only release is the best first

>Give album cover that looks like japanese city
>It is now vaporwave

Looking for something aesthetically asian -- japanese korean etc... but more on the ambient side (vs the Jfunk, 90's synth sound). I think telepath and 2814 nail it well.

Any similar sounding artists?

This

club music for elite normies 2012

Remember, HKE

His solo work is better

was your question really that important

I'm really not. I'm not subscribed to either of the mother fuckers but I mean keep on going on with those baseless assumptions.

I never said it was. But you can be knowledgeable about one genre and blind about the other. Just like you're blind about vaporwave and just like I've never really sat down and gave metal a honest chance. But I'm not gonna pretend I know shit about metal because I don't. And you shouldn't pretend like you know the in's and out's of vaporwave when you don't.

you are like little babby, watch this

...

true, this album is way better than standard vaporwave

This is god tier as well. Derelict had some good songs but the length really brought it down because a lot of songs felt fillerish.

this album is in the void for me its both terrible and amazing at the same time

actually its the opposite. i know several actual musicians who listen to it.
