Last.fm Collage Thread

Post 'em up, r8/h8/rec and all that stuff

I got a huge backlog personally so I don't really need any recommendations right now, but I'd be more than happy to discuss any of the albums on here

have you like ever tried exploring music and not just listening to whatever mu talks about?

Oh great first post and we've some cunt that's gonna hate on popular mu albums.

Can't say I've seen Sup Forums say many positive things about the Grateful Dead, Ginette Neveu, Josef Hassid, Polo & Pan, Arsonists Get All the Girls, Scandelion, Barón Rojo, or A Day to Remember

Also, why are you surprised that someone on Sup Forums listens to a lot of music that is generally regarded by Sup Forums to be good music?

Car Seat Headrest is a bit shit desu
>actually replying to one of these posts
>starts listing all your non-Sup Forumscore artists
you come across as really insecure here senpai, just ignore it

Csh is mostly shite yeah. I just got a lot of nostalgia for twin fantasy and I really do love Teens of Denial. He writes some really satisfying hooks.

>babby's first electronic

Daisy is a really underappreciated album

+Car Seat Headrest, I don't know why people are hating in here

+The Replacements, I definitely don't see them brought up enough

Daisy is definitely super underrated, it's just a shame that it's probably gonna stay that way now that we know how shitty of a person Jesse Lacey is

...

+Nina Simone
How's Camila? I really liked "Havana" as a single; does the album hold up?

it was just okay
like i didn't hate it but there wasnt anything that really stood out to me either

hey man, ever tried not listening to cuckmusique?

Fad Gadget Frank Tovey
You've listened to Hugo Largo right? The band on the ENo label
hi

i fuckin love that Brave Little Abacus album
you should check out;
Johnny Foreigner - Waited Up 'Til It Was Light
Joan Of Arc - A Portable Model Of...
& The Anniversary - Designing a Nervous Breakdown

Hey man, keep forcing this meme. It might even take off one day

bring it on faggots
(p.s. I swear it's just a phase)
I don't know anything hear, but that is my favorite dead studio album, rec me something
pretty based, rec me a pop album (I like Cyndi, Gaga, and the Ronettes)
you've probably already listened to it but:
Berlin - Pleasure Victim
berry edition
Raspberry - Starting Over

>hear

you see soulja boy counting all that money and what you see above him
a guy so poor he can't even afford a shirt
so sad

hey, how're you doing

i havent listened to berlin, thanks for the rec
as for you, these may be pretty obvious but what do you think about carly rae jepsen and kate bush

idk how you feel about twee but tiger trap is good too imo

i liked blossom dearie, thank you for the rec

>Carly & Kate
rec me an album from each. I've listened to both and neither caught my attention.
>twee
not a big fan, but I liked that Tiger Trap s/t. probably only listened to it a few times but I'm sure I'll get around to it again

emotion's carly's best album, desu i think if you don't like that you probably wouldn't like her others

for kate i'd say try either hounds of love or the dreaming

dont give recs based on minutemen alone, i didnt like the album
which modest mouse album did you like most?
i have special feelings for LCW but long drive is also very good imo, dont really care much for their stuff afterwards though
casiopea is a great album, congratulations

which one, Blues For Allah or Terrapin Station?
either way you should try;
Sopwith Camel - The Miraculous Hump Returns From The Moon (smooth psych jams, similar to later Dead stuff)
Edan - Beauty And The Beat (hip-hop with major 60's/70's psychedelic influence)

+++Maus, Residents, Beefheart, Soft Hair, Can, Les Rallizes Denudes
good taste desu

Terrapin Station, I didn't notice the other one
I'll check out the psych album
really didn't like the vocals on that Edan record, maybe I'll give it another try sometime

Nomeansno-Wrong
Ungfell-Tôtbringære
Brave Little Abacus-Just Got Back From the Discomfort—We're Alright
Föllakzoid-II

charles bronson - youth attack
especially if you like hardcore AND tokyo anal dynamite

Lol, I cannot damn stand that album and I've given it so many chances.
What album do you recommend most off your chart? I've only listened to like 3 of em.

You know, Sad Sappy Sucker has had some of the heaviest feels to me. maybe that was just the context to when I was listening to it though, rainy days walking on the road a lot.
I think as wholes it goes for me like
MAA>TIALD>LCW>SSS>NOOFAYN>WWDBTSES>GNFPWLBN
Nice btw I need to listen to more Brian Eno.

Not yet, but I'll be sure to listen to that and Felt, cos any band listened to that much is probably good.

>What album do you recommend most off your chart? I've only listened to like 3 of em.
buds is the only album that is similar to the albums you've posted
it's not that good, i'd say 6/10
it's comfy though

ive only listened to the "entry level" brian eno albums, but in case you havent heard these, i'd recommend another green world, discreet music, ambient 1 ofcourse, and taking tiger mountain(by strategy)

You're right casiopea are fuckin sick. Do you have any recs for similar stuff?

I ate those food
