It's only 56% angry and edgy, the rest of it is pretty calm.

Because America was always the country with the most masculine men, and being angry and pushing boundaries are the most masculine things to do. Europe is full of cucks who watch their wives be fucked by mohammed

I'd be to if I were American.

Holy shit, never thought about it this way. Thanks for sharing.

Sup Forums has been groundhog day for years except the latest FotM hype

We're repressed and American exceptionalism pushes you to insanity in school here, all our parents are on drugs to deal with fear. The dream is over, etc. Man, you don't even wanna know

rest is either accurate or irrelevant because garbage.

Whys nigger music so edgy?

hey now what the heck

What I want to know is why the fuck Norwegian music is 10x angrier and edgier than anywhere else. It's literally the best country on the planet anyone could hope to live in and their music is still fucking school-shooter core.

It makes sense that British music is emo as fuck because Britain is a shitty rainy island full of English people. But what's the deal with Norway?

Most sensible post ITT

((((christians)))) annihilated their culture and then imported tons of shitskins

>still angry about his sodomy tree

wrong, being masculine does not equal anger. that's for pussies who want to seem tough. real men don't need to do that shit. nothing but girls in this thread

Wow Zach Braff looks terrible

Invented by The Grateful Dead, an American band.
>Grime
True. But as much as grime fans hate this fact it is an inferior knock-off of rap that pretends to be its own genre.

Stop going to church.

>Invented by The Grateful Dead

No. They weren't even the first Americans to do it, the Charlatans were before them

Only they weren't, the Charlatans only formed in 1964 as a folk band and didn't release their first album until 1969. Grateful dead formed only a year later and debate about s/t aside, Anthem of the Sun which is decisively a psychedelic record was released in 1968.

>inferior knock-off of rap that pretends to be its own genre
were you describing reggae or grime because in either case it's retarded

>Jamaican
Tbh, UK did have a Dub/Ska scene starting in the mid-1970s. Plus you had the 80s bands like the Specials. Disco/Funk didn't kick off in England as much as it did in USA

>Invented by The Grateful Dead, an American band.
Was refering to popularity mainly, plus music scenes

>True. But as much as grime fans hate this fact it is an inferior knock-off of rap that pretends to be its own genre.
It's more Speed Garage than it is Hip Hop. Plus they don't rap. They 'spit' and 'toast'

Grime, it's fucking rap. 99% of the grime coming out right now is literally trap music with a London accent and the serial numbers filed off.

Reggae is nothing like rap and some decades older.

yeah swans and every metal band ever sure arent edgy at all

trap took those tropes from grime, not vice versa. Rattling high hats? grime, spacey instrumentals? grime. Jungle came around the same time as hip hop, and UK had a dub poet scene long before US.

Hip hop ripped off jungle. Trap ripped off grime. Go eat your sisters arse, shitlicker.

>It's more Speed Garage than it is Hip Hop
This might have been true 10 years ago, but these days grime production(like rap) is all 808s, brass and snares with virtually zero speed garage influence.

>Plus they don't rap. They 'spit' and 'toast'
That's really the same thing though. It's like saying British people don't play soccer, they play football.

Wrong, Lil Jon was doing all this back before even the thought of high-hats entered the mind of a London DJ.

>Jungle came around the same time as hip hop, and UK had a dub poet scene long before US.
1. Jungle was invented over a decade after hip-hop
2. Dub poets are a Jamaican thing. Guess where else also has a massive musically influential Jamaican population? New York, where rap was invented.

user was specifically talking about trap elements which technically jungle happens to predate

this track is from 1995

not the best example just the most popular one

That is utterly irrelevant. And the Yardbirds - Shapes of Things in February 1966 (the first psychedelic rock top 10 record in the UK and top 20 in the US) was way before Anthem of the Sun

It's irrelevant that the Grateful Dead had a psychedelic record out years before the Charlatans did when considering who was doing psychedelic rock first? Okay, kid.

>And the Yardbirds - Shapes of Things in February 1966
And Kim Fowley released The Trip in 1965.

Not even any of the two anons, but you're spot on about modern grime here. The shit me and my m8s created on the Windows ME 16 years back was nothing like the shit that's being spewed out today. Actual Grime died in 2010, just like Dubstep

It doesn't matter who you know, but who you blow.
