Harry Potter and the Cursed Child - Part I & II

Adaption when?

We all know it will happen once The Fantastic Breasts are done

"NO!"

Literally never because it's poorly written fanfiction that doesn't make any sense given what we previously knew about the characters. They'd have to shift the canon from books to movies.

For the money, the studio would do it. But isn't this story getting mixed reviews? I keep hearing a lot of hate from fans. From the twist, to gay-baiting, to Harry being ooc. I wonder if they would change it. Also, it would need to be shown on broadway and tour in the states first, I'd imagine.

...

>it's poorly written fanfiction
So is the original stuff :^)

It's never happened and you could use google. WB said a couple months ago they have no plans for a Cursed Child film. The thing is its making bank in the theater and is sold out through 2017. They want to maximize theater profits and move the play to broadway after London. They dont want to have a film of the same thing at the same time as the play because even WB knows saturating doesnt mean more interest and profits. Eventually nothing is stopping them from making it but its tailored to a play and its basically 'its a wonderful life. With Fantastic Beasts under-performing I bet WB is considering the inevitablity that they will have to throw money at the trio in a couple years to make a couple legit sequels that focus on them before they have kids. Theres still room for some story and they can make 2-3 billion easy off two to three films

This is a film board the movies were great. No matter how much you hate to hear it.

Will it have negro-hermione in it?

Patiently awaiting "stretched his legs" copypasta.

It would have to be "extended universe" non-canon or changed significantly. Harry is a fucking piece of shit in Cursed Child. I don't know if it was intended to be a callback to Harry's father being a cockmaster and Snape being right but it doesn't work. It just doesn't.

No that was for the play which can routinely hire whatever actor they want, JK just made a somewhat big fuss about it and people made even a bigger fuss.

>This is a film board the movies were great
>film board
>movies were great
Right then why are you discussing movies on a film board?

Fantastic breasts eh?

>responds with memes
Don't you have the pasta to post? Or are you getting tired

>still no streching leg

The films were kino, unlike one of the dullest shitposts in the history of movie shitposts. Each shitpost following /lit/ wizards and their pals from /r9k/ as they fight assorted kinographers has been indistinguishable from the others. Aside from the lack of film analysis the shitposts only consistency has been its lack of excitement and ineffective use of images and pasta?all to make fantasy unfantastical to make witchcraft seem kiddie.

Perhaps the die was cast when Quentin vetoed the idea of shitposting on /lit/ directing the shitposts at Sup Forums, he made sure the shitposts would never be mistaken for a work of art that meant anything to anybody?just ridiculously profitable cross-posting for his (You). The shitposts might be anti-Christian (or not), but it’s certainly the anti-atmospherical anaylsis in its refusal of critique and watching for the plot. No one wants to face that fact. Now, thankfully, they no longer have to.

>a-at least the shitposts are g-g-good though
"No!"

The writing is dreadful; the books were terrible and the films were much better. As I read, I noticed that everytime he shitposts, Quentin wrote instead that Brave New World "was a low tier form of art."

I began marking on the back of an envelope every time that shitpost was repeated. I stopped only after I had marked the envelope several dozen times. I was incredulous. The shitposters mind is so governed by cliches and dead metaphors that he has no other style of writing. Later I read a lavish, loving review of shitpost by the same Stephen King. He wrote something to the effect of, "If these kids are shitposting at 11 or 12, then when they get older they will go on to read Stephen King." And he was quite right. He was not being ironic. When you shitpost you are, in fact, trained to read Stephen King.

>Adaption when?
>We all know it will happen once The Fantastic Breasts are done

you answered your own question

faggot

you blew it

Why would I post the pasta when I don't agree with the book rankings it comes with? And answer the question already
>Right then why are you discussing movies on a film board?

Because they are films. Go outside stop being autistic.

Faggot

>OOTP was filmed on 5K

Explain your dumb fucking post here then >This is a film board the movies were great. No matter how much you hate to hear it.
You just called them kino in your retarded pasta too so I'm guessing the actual dichotomy between movies and films makes you insecure.

You're autistic that's the explanation go outside for the day

Also that is taken from picture related. Many scholars, directors, artists and actors believe it.
Nice cop out you ape.

DUHHH why u want a sequel to one of the dullest franchise in the history of movie franchises?? each episode following the boy wizard and his pals from Hogwarts Academy as they fight assorted villains has been indistinguishable from the others. Aside from the gloomy imagery, the series’ only consistency has been its lack of excitement and ineffective use of special effects, all to make magic unmagical, to make action seem inert.

Perhaps the die was cast when Rowling vetoed the idea of Spielberg directing the series; she made sure the series would never be mistaken for a work of art that meant anything to anybody?just ridiculously profitable cross-promotion for her books. The Harry Potter series might be anti-Christian (or not), but it’s certainly the anti-James Bond series in its refusal of wonder, beauty and excitement. No one wants to face that fact. Now, thankfully, they no longer have to.

>a-at least the books were good though
"No!"
The writing is dreadful; the book was terrible. As I read, I noticed that every time a character went for a walk, the author wrote instead that the character "stretched his legs."

I began marking on the back of an envelope every time that phrase was repeated. I stopped only after I had marked the envelope several dozen times. I was incredulous. Rowling's mind is so governed by cliches and dead metaphors that she has no other style of writing. Later I read a lavish, loving review of Harry Potter by the same Stephen King. He wrote something to the effect of, "If these kids are reading Harry Potter at 11 or 12, then when they get older they will go on to read Stephen King." And he was quite right. He was not being ironic. When you read "Harry Potter" you are, in fact, trained to read Stephen King. xDD

I can now die in peace

NO THANKS, rather not have a giganigga hermione

They gotta wait until the actors are a little older.

And for the play to be on broadway and over and done with, which is why they will do normal sequels first

because its legit information that you should fundamentally know if you are filimmaker you fucking inconcievbale fucking mutant faget

thats not teh correct use of dichotomy so i genuinely know for a fact you dont even understand what page is saying that you are showing
