I'm a 33 year old engineer, and I genuinely like Lil Peep. Is there something wrong with me?
I'm sad the dude died. He made some good jams.

I wish you would die too
>I'm a 33 year old engineer
Cringe.
>I'm a 33 year old engineer
Don't lie you underage faggot
What's so terrible about being an engineer?
I wish I was lying :-(
oh look another trap shill thread. they are trying to push this shit hard.
>"I'm a relatable white guy! JUST LIKE YOU! and I LOVE this music! :)"
I genuinely have no fucking idea what you're talking about. This is my first Sup Forums post. I'm an oldfag Sup Forums->Sup Forums->/biz/ guy.
I genuinely think it may be related to my semi-white trash, poor upbringings. I can semi-relate to the dreams of making it big or whatever you want to call it.
2 of those boards aren’t even old and posting on Sup Forums is nothing worth mentioning to anyone ever.
There's like 3-4 songs of his that I like. Pretty repetitive and shitty lyrics for the most of his music though.
Not that user, but engineers tend be some of the most self-righteous assholes on earth. This is tied to the high salary that attracts people, but also the autists that the field attracts. Of course, I'm speaking for my own experiences as an American. I work in business and we have our own share of assholes, but engineers are special bunch.
I judge people more harshly when they assume their jobs speak more about their identities more than anything else. You're an engineer and I guess that is cool but why should I care? Why be embarrassed about liking an artist, plebian?
> when they assume their jobs speak more about their identities more than anything else
well it does when it consumes so much of their time
>I'm a 33 year old engineer
>He made some good jams.
jesus christ just shut the fuck up
>but engineers tend be some of the most self-righteous assholes on earth
I haven't encountered this. But maybe some people see me as self-righteous...I used to be a pretty hardcore narcissist, but mushrooms mostly cured me of that (I think?).
>I judge people more harshly when they assume their jobs speak more about their identities more than anything else
I think you misunderstood -- I'm not saying that's how I primarily self-identify, but it moreso speaks to my outward appearance as a cube dweller.
>You're an engineer and I guess that is cool but why should I care? Why be embarrassed about liking an artist, plebian?
It's not really embarassment so much as it just seems strange to me. When I think of a scrawny white rapper born in the 90s with face tattoos, I don't think of a 33 year old white collar dude that works in a cubicle.
>There's like 3-4 songs of his that I like
feel the same way but the more i hear the more i like him. he's not great but he had some good melodies and a unique style.
>jesus christ just shut the fuck up
What specifically about that activates your almonds>the more i hear the more i like him
Exactly this. Beamer boy is a good example of this. I didn't like it at all when I first heard it. Now I've probably listened to it 5 times in a row. I do that with songs, though -- I drive them into the ground when they click.
Who the fuck cares about you
>Who the fuck cares about you
A few people at least. Don't see the relevance, though.
all trap fuckin sucks lil contraband lil shitstain whatever the name is it's all shit
>all trap fuckin sucks lil contraband lil shitstain whatever the name is it's all shit
So this is considered trap music? I genuinely don't know shit about music genres.
his musics pretty shit but shame he died so early in his life
I don't know the exact term for it but it's always like oh I think I'll check out this new artist people are talking about and it's trap-flavored instrumentals and lyrics about drugs it's all the saaaaaaame. I've already given up hope. I'm glad lil peep died. one less shit soundcloud rapper makes the world a better place
>I'm glad lil peep died. one less shit soundcloud rapper makes the world a better place
Savage
I know I'm wasting time and energy posting anything here but I had to let it out somewhere
