One song that you may consider yourself lucky to not remember is the flop single "Boiler" from Limp Bizkit's infamous turn of the millenium nu metal record setter Chocolate Starfish and Dick Juice, which sold 1 million copies in it's first week... yeah, people are stupid.
"Boiler" had a hugely ambitious video to match it's grating length of 7 minutes that cost over 1 million dollars to make, yet this single barely ranked on the charts for being a follow up to "Rollin'" and "My Way", as it did not hit the Hot 100 and only hit #30 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart.
Rollin and My Way both got retired at 65 days (most possible) on TRL while Boiler only managed to last 14 days.
This song's sound is more comparable to Deftones or Tool than most of the idiotic, monkeys throwing feces and banging on garbage cans sound that Limp Bizkit is often suited for, but it's still fucking horrible. Fred Durst whines about relationships, crawling up butts and "WHY?!?!". Wes Borland plays his best Adam Jones ripoff riff. This goes on for seven fucking minutes. 0/10.
