>I listen to full albums from front to back because it's what the artist intended!
I listen to full albums from front to back because it's what the artist intended!
It's fun to pretend artist intended to convey something rather than just make money.
I listen to albums on shuffle like a patrician.
I listen only to the back, the front is just a label.
>I watch a tv show in order because it's what the director intended
i only listen to the singles of an album the rest is always just filler. theres a reason its a single.
>I'm aware of the existence of singles
pleb
>I listen to full albums
I do it because my autism won't let me leave it unfinished. I don't care about what the artist intended
>I am a teenager and discovered memes
>I watch dvds with the scenes in the right order because that's what the director intended!

>posting on Sup Forums
fucking IDIOT
>television and film are the same as music
Albums are more a collection of songs, like an anthology series you can watch out of order
artist releases an album thats not a compilation or live album, then that was what they intended.
>i post pathetic wojak memes in 2018!
There should be a law where if you don't listen to an album in its entirety as the artist intended the artist gets to do something bad to you. Seriously. You wouldn't just look at half of a painting or sculpture then leave. You shouldn't listen to part of an album then stop.
>he doesn't watch films and tv in whatever order he wants rather than being cucked by the director
I listen to albums in full because I don't actively listen to shit albums that make me want to skip a song, and I don't have a short attention span like most teenagers on here do apparently
Listening to artist's albums front to end isn't only not too viable in today's age, it's also dumb as shit to do, too. Judging artists solely by the quality of their albums is an antiquated way to judge music at this point considering why albums as a medium even existed in the first place (which is an obsolete reason today.) Not only that, even the classics of the album medium often have tracks that aren't too good. Even back in the day, for example The Beatles' Revolver which has some fantastic songs on it surrounded by boring pop ditties. Or The Rolling Stones' Exile On Main Street which has some of the most influential rock songwriting ever on it, but is also bloated with filler.
If its shitty or doesn't keep my attention then I'm not going to waste my time on the rest of it. I live my life to enjoy it not to be autistic
this. People don't have to be forced to do things.
What if its like pop album or pop punk. Did the band really feel people would all listen to the full album. Sometimes it can be enjoyable to put on different tracks here and there.
>television and film are the same
>watching drama television
My favorite band is Jamiroquai, a pop group. And you should listen to every album in it's entirety at least a few times before picking songs out of it. Otherwise you will overplay the song you immediately like and will be unable to enjoy the album in it's entirety because you will then want to skip the overplayed song. And then you will miss out on a grower.
>I take food out of the packaging before eating it because it's what the manufacturer intended
>not being autistic
Well I hardly ever do the individual track thing from an album the first time, usually its because I am only interested in one or tracks anyway. But still don't got to force people if they own the album. But its reccommended, full album is most the time the better experience
I don't listen to bands or tracks where the rest of the album sucks because they don't deserve to be listened to. Make a fucking consistent album.
But it can be like you mentioned, you favor one track and the others don't get play since you didn't play the full release. So kind of a catch 22. Most likely selling the other tracks short, unless its Corey Feldman, I'm sure the other tracks can be good too.
why would you even need to listen to an album in a different way?
>I look at post numbers with repeating digits because it's what the poster intended
