Post the track that means the most to you,, explain why.
Might be a little cheesy, but let's add a little more than just leaving a link and reccing in the thread.
I want to hear some of the context behind your music

This new one is inspired by me having a lot of school work to do and tests to study for but I'm procrastinating by going to drink with my band all the time
Eh I like this one, more so because I think it's the first time I thought my vocals were somewhat acceptable. I also like the production on this; I was never confident in my ability to make kind of electronic/hip hop before.

I took a lot of time to make this one, and it's like a taste of what's about to come with the album I'm working on, so I am excited about that.
It revolves around the pleasures of a sexual intercourse, pretty much. I don't wanna go too deep into that.

Not the best Primitif Mann song, but I was in a very bad place when I made it, so it's as close as I can get when thinking about that period of my life.
It's also an Alan Vega tribute, as you can see by the title, Suicide is a personal favorite of mine.
Anyway, here's what I recommend so far:

I'd like to just note that I've been struggling with depression and personal problems for a while now, and creating this EP was a way to let go of some of the many emotions I experienced during that time. It's a combination of wavy and dreamy indie influences with electronic, upbeat, and progressive sides to it. The way the project got over 800 plays in 8 days has been mindblowing and motivation as well.
Wanna thank everyone on here who's been supporting it, commenting with helpful or kind feedback, or otherwise helped out.
As always, I'm happy to return any feedback posted. Cheers!

This is a psychedelic track. It almost sounds like musical water flowing. The highs could be tamed a little but that's just preference.

Always nice to hear a SC rapper who actually raps, especially when they're good. The beat is classic hip hop and the flow is tight.

Probably my favourite track I've ever made. Culmination of around a year of fucking with a Casio keyboard and my 4-track while at uni, living alone going through depression and substance abuse stuff. For years, I have wanted to make a song that just felt like it was an extension of me. I wanted a song that was depressed, but still pretty. I wanted to make something with fun rhythm and feeling, but still ambient and mellow.
As I pieced together "Rewind," I felt myself growing more and more fond of it. Before I know it, I was genuinely proud.
And I knew I had it: The first song I was ever truly proud of. I've listened to it several times and each time I never want it to end.

Wrote this for my gf for valentines day. It was at one of our literal most monetary poorest moments together. I had nothing else to give her.
Over the years I've deleted old songs that I've written and loved because they were getting old or taking up space. Never deleted this song. Don't even have the original flp, so basically this is all I have of it.

This is a song I wrote yesterday that I'm pretty excited about. It tells a story and ties in a simpler and more relateable chorus.
In general I write lyrical folk/pop songs with stories/concepts/points and I bring them to life with alterna-rock singing and weirdo electronic instrumentation.

This song is inspired by the only time in my life I felt like I was truly alone and lost in the world.
Please give me some honest feed back on what you think
>soundcloud.com
There's an appreciable cuteness to the melody and the idea of just being piano music. There's something stilted about it and I feel like it lacks dynamics. The changes that do happen feel sudden and not extremely anticipated.
I'd like to hear the note lengths and maybe the tempo played with? I think this melody could be a lot more effective if it had more dominion of time and space.
this track means a lot to me because it was the first time I made a song that I was actually into. at the time I was listening to a lot of tchami and sot thats where the inspiration for it came from!

Did you buy SoundCloud plays? I can't help but notice you have almost the exact same number of plays on each song but hardly any comments.
Anyway, I am listening to your album. I can relate the sound of the music to your struggle in a way that feels pretty effective.
Reminded of stuff I like, like Kanye West and Why? but I like knowing a lot about those guys and you chopped your head out of your picture, if that's even your picture.
This is way better and more polished than I'm used to seeing in one of these mu threads. Extremely solid shit
