He started the band, he chose the band name, he chose the band members, he was the face of the band, he was the most attractive member. And yet even after Keith Richards and Mick Jagger took over the band and threw him out, they had him murdered and paid good money to have his head held underwater. Why?

Money?
because Brian Jones was a virgin and Jagger and Richards were chads
>they had him murdered
Gimme the quick rundown on this meme
Umm no Keith got Brian's sloppy seconds.
It's nothing new. His death is suspicious to say the least. Keith Richards himself believes Brian was murdered. The most likely suspects are Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and their tour manager at the time (I forget his name). His house had been cleaned out and the tour manager told his girlfriend to never ever come back.
Wyman and Charlie Watts were the only other RS members to even go to his funeral.
weren't the other members filming a movie somewhere in buttfuck, egypt and they couldn't go to the funeral because of their contract?
>implying I'd go to the funeral of a "friend" who drowned due to drug usage and negligence
Based Mick Richards and Keith Jagger made the right call.
>Keith Richards himself believes Brian was murdered
>The most likely suspects are... Keith Richards
kek
>According to author Gary Herman, Jones was "literally incapable of making music; when he tried to play harmonica his mouth started bleeding".[45]
kek
and his silly 'cover' got you instantly
He wrote Satisfaction, Paint it Black, and Under My Thumb you fucking imbecile.
I was under the impression that he was a blues-purist who wanted the band to remain in their pre-Aftermath style.
he was no Mick Taylor
Ok
>Nico and Brian dated for a while. She claimed that he was capable of making original music.
>He showed music to other people who claimed that his songs were enjoyable but weren't exactly songs.
>he made amazing contributions to the Rolling Stones
>his song ideas were rejected by Jagger and Richards, i.e. turboplebs
>he had a charismatic and unique and strong personality among other popular artists
>many amazing artists, e.g. the Beatles, Jim Morrison, Nico, Jimi Hendrix, etc. saw him as a talented and interesting figure
Brian Jones is just an abysmal failure who wasted his opportunity to make great music.
>He showed music to other people who claimed that his songs were enjoyable but weren't exactly songs.
What did he mean by this?
Means they weren't pop songs
Lots of marimba and sitar
So it was just "non-pop" music? Any idea what it sounded like?
Not really. Brian was into weird shit. Look up the Master Musicians of Joujouka.
Sometimes Brian wrote straight up blues songs with just an electric guitar, but there was no singing or lyrics. I think when it came down to it, Brian was horrified of any kind of criticism and was a fragile person.
Too bad. I was always a bigger Beatles fan when I was younger, but over the last few years, I've really learned to appreciate the 'Stones, especially the early "Brian-era" stuff.
brian jones had like 10 kids
RIP Brian
>writing incomplete demos of basic blues rock songs without lyrics or vocal melodies is experimental
he knew Mick Jagger and Keith were kiddy diddlers
I'm not 16 so I don't use words like "experimental" to describe music.
I still wish he'd formed a supergroup of freaky rejects with Peter Green and Syd Barrett. Not sure who they could have picked up as a drummer.
Angus Maclise
he couldnt write songs and the band pracitcally objectively improved when he was replaced by Mick Taylor
Faggot alert
Petes nuttiness never really dragged his music down much. youd have to think he'd be the one holding that group together
Didn't know him but I read up on him and holy shit does he fit the bill.
Don't worry, they'll reunite in hell.
We could trade him for Brian Wilson if we need someone a little more out there. The group does need a dedicated bassist.
...
Mental illness supergroup:

drugs dude
>putting the best guitarist on bass
fucking kys
Brian Jones raped Mick Jagger's boypucci, so Mick had him murdered when the time was right.
