I was going to say something but then realized that german has already been discussed in this thread.

youtube.com/watch?v=uPHi5xn_q5c

Finnish is one of the most complicated languages out there

Stop insulting best non-neighbor

shut up roach

issa joke

btw i don't even know german myself, im cz*ch

i dont have any article words to post

de
het

how do you differentiate between them? is there a rule? ive been trying to learn dutch but i always forget if it was de or het

>ive been trying to learn dutch
Why? It's less relevant than Basque

i just like the pronounciation of stuff, and its easy to learn since i know both german and english

if you know german it's easy:
der and die = de
das = het
same rules, but you don't have to think if it's male or female

holy fuck thanks

you're welcome

good post

*adds ki or oulos at the end of any turkish word*

it's really not that difficult, eventually you just get a feel for what's appropriate.

how long did it take for you to get a good grasp on it? i've been studying German for a solid month at this point and the dative and genitive can just piss off too bee quite honest

i studied german for 12 years and i still sometimes mix them up

why are you so mad karamanlis?

oh deary me

the thing is, instead of learning how they worked i mastered how to make a sound that is between the artikels so its incomprehensible while talking but you can still fuck up while writing

several years desu but I never really had intensive German lessons, I just lived in a Germanophone country for a while.

Eventually you just see the word endings and it just clicks in your brain whether it's a der die or das. Dem/den/des is a bit more tricky.

perhaps i'll just work hard on my German then go study abroad when I reach a decent level of competency
do NOT want to remain monolingual

We have articles too.
der = dr
die = d
das = s

Don't worry turks here don't know how to Artikel either

i only forget which word took what artikel so i just make a sound inbetween the three
