Not even a meme. The characters all make sense in DS9 and aren't superhuman Jesus figures like in TNG. TNG was amazing and was the most appealable Star Trek to the general public, but DS9 was objectively better as a TV show.

dude DS9 was so bad, they had to get the TNG crew in it because nobody was watching that shit in the beginning.
But it's still the second best Trek and if you cut out the 80% that are shit tier episodes then it's pretty good.

Only a handful of episodes of TOS have thought provoking concepts. Rest were about them visiting planets that were based on a specific segment of Earth's history, Kirk screwing random alien chicks, and Kirk failing to screw random alien chicks. While Voyager has some terrible episodes, it has some great ones as well.
