Well mister black metal user, you look really lonely here.
Also, these threads... Can we finally stop making them or start actually going something productive in them? They seems like a waste really.

Expansive new single out now. Album coming February 8th. Thank you for listening.

Thanks for pointing out The First Era pack to me man

No problemo

Feels like a bit of a waste to me, sadly. Simple hi-hat rhythmics are just not holding up anymore. The variety is also flawed in that there isn't much coming out of these tracks. They have okay quality to them but thats about it. Although I can't be too harsh on the Pink Panther

Live album now available! Also im still making music and if I can do it for a living I 100% would.

Thanks for some good feedback.

>The variety is also flawed in that there isn't much coming out of these tracks.

Yep, i was worried about that. They pretty much all sound alike to me aside from the sample i suppose.

You think i should go a little crazy with the hi hats? I'm working on another track and im thinking about adding some delay and reverb to the hats and claps in a dub fashion.

I used to really love trap hi hats, but thats played for me.

I'm wondering if my style is doomed to sound repetitive? A lot of techno, dub, and dub-techno sounds really alike to me after listening to a set long enough.

>You think i should go a little crazy with the hi hats?
I would say yes. I would even go for expanding the rythmn sections, trap hihats are overplayed as fuck and soloing them will only bring you closer to the "unremarkable" category. Any experimentation is good for defining a personal stylistic and such. For providing and setting what are you trying to show people.

>I'm wondering if my style is doomed to sound repetitive?
I've never found a beat-driven music style that didn't made me bored after a while. But boring isn't necessarily bad per se. The bigger problem would be how tracks would differ from each other. I mean, take The Field or any number of minimal techno peeps. Sure, some of them are boring as all hell but most of them tend to shift what they do on individual tracks. It's up to you to make most of the tracks and find the best combination of experiments and consistency that will make people go back to you. Sadly, going by these tracks, I can say that, by now, it's not better than 95% of beats SC people. But keep going, maybe you'll get something out of it

it's debatable, taking a 4-5 month break for sure

wow, this is stuff I've never really listened to before but its left me shocked. Very interesting. Great production all the strange noises clash together so nice and make it sound so dreamy.
Love a good live album and in turn you guys sound pretty sweet live.

Listening to your recent release and I feel like it's more ideas than full fledged songs especially with the production and the rhythms feeling a bit too simple.
Moonlight Undercut has some good ideas but I feel like the drums and guitar recordings could feel more organic and less computer sounding. But that's just my two cents.

let it live

The vocals kinda ruin it for me. You go out of key too much. The lack of energy isn't really what does it, it gives me a modest mouse vibe, it's just the fact that you go out of key.
wow, that first pitch drop hit me like a ton of bricks. Then the song went in an interesting direction, then it just stopped? Wow, and now there's a more straight forward song. At this point, it stopped being as interesting, but you have potential. The production is very on point.
Pretty good, I like it
ay lmao
ever heard the phrase, "in order to be reborn, you must first die?" These threads tend to go stale with too much of a post count. When they're fresh and you repost, people are more likely to listen to you.

Could someone give it to me straight about the mix? I'm using majordecibel free mastering software and I used to like it but now I realize that the mix sounds wildly different at different volumes. I thought I could get away with it but I just downloaded a trial version of wavelab so I can get better mixes.

Does anyone use wavelab or wavelab elements? Is wavelab pro worth the extra 400-500 dollars?
