and if you disagree, you’re simply a pleb.
This is Kendrick’s best album
I agree
Nah, GKMC is his best. TPAB is second best but it'll age like shit, I guarantee it.
untitled doesn't have anything memorable beyond 02 and 07
TPab already aged like shit
Its a great album.
It just feels old as fuk
UU doesnt feel like its gonna grow old.
DAMN is nice, it might stand the test of time.
>Old as fuck
>Not even 3 years old yet
Explain this.
>literally who: the album
How the fuck is he a 'literally who'?
This isn't even a quality argument he is one of the most talked about rappers of the 2010s how do you not know who he is?
I actually agree
I was actually relistening to the album when I saw this thread
Rap ages like milk
>DAMN is nice, it might stand the test of time.
Yeah, because everyone is still gonna be listening to trap in 5 years.
certain types of rap and hip-hop do not, though. It comes down in the end to personal preference, but old school hip hop still sounds fresh.
Listening to 08 right now, no idea why he never used this song. Mono/poly is such a good producer
08 is one of my absolute favourites, love the live performance too
I don't listen to white college kid music
not kendrick lamar. the album. uu is the literally who of k dot albums
this isn't an album--its a compilation. Its essentially TPAB the B-sides. Its nothing impressive, "Corn-row Kenny he was born with a vision" ? "Parallel park like an alien came visit" ? I'm sure there are children who can write more thought provoking lyrics than this guy.
Underrated. Nearly everyone I know who tries to defend Kendrick when I say he's shit is white and in college.
good kid maad city is better tho
06 is his best song to date desu
I think you're thinking of KLEP or OD
What about untitled 1 & 5? you have shit taste nigga
>judges music for its lyrics
>but old school hip hop still sounds fresh.
no the fuck it doesn't, unless heavily experimental for its time
Weird way to say 08 and nothing else
Kendrick's delivery is fucking seamless on that verse, if you want lyrical content then go listen to TPAB or MF doom. Honestly with a lot of rap the overall effect of the flow as a musical and rythmic device is way more interesting and important than the content. At least that's what keeps me listening to it.
fucking yes
Just started listening to good kid maad city. Other than this, TPAB and DAMN what else of his is worth listening?
Section.80 is decent, don't waste your time with his mixtapes/singles.
>
>06 is his best song to date desu
this honestly
> all these r/hhh kids it
You fucks need to leave, you don't even try to hide it
Is it because you're a white college student and thats the only people you're friends with?
