If you're in London or Birmingham/some other big "enriched" city or a upper middle class area then yes this happens for obvious reasons and they much prefer the more "tolerant and inclusive" union flag (which i've personally always associated with London alone because the majority of England/Scotland/Wales prefer to be referred to as of their own country/ethnicity instead of British). If you're in one of the smaller cities or a town/village nobody gives a shit because theres no champagne socialists to look down on you/no immigrants to get eternally rectal ravaged over the fact the English flag is one giant cross.
