ZZ Top never had a line-up change, and they formed in 1969. I can't remember if they hold the record for the longest-lasting band without a line-up change, but they're definitely up there.

Well new order was a diffrent band, they dropped joy division

Not quite never, but... Rush has been unchanged since Neil joined in 1974. Golden Earring has has the same four core members since 1970. The Four Tops had the same line-up from 1953 to 1997.

Led Zeppelin
The Beatles

Ive been playing this album all week.

the beatles had pete best and stu sutcliffe in the band originally

How about bands that didn't do well when a lead singer left?

Sneaker Pimps
Flyleaf
Crystal Castles

Gotta' be more...

Not very well known but The Click Five as well.

Sneaker Pimps firing Kelli Ali has to be one of the stupidest moves in music history.

Is it the huge amount of nose candy Glenn Hughes took that has preserved his voice? To be in his age and sing these high notes....
