I couldn't follow movies this year. Hopefully i'll get watch the ones I've missed in the next few months.
Ok senpaitachi I just sent it, enjoy!
Sad there isn't a Blu Ray for it yet :(
Pretty good Christmas, was incredibly happy, what about you?
Also it was me who posted about Meet me In St Louis, check the flag lol.
Glad you liked it, I almost teared up at the theater to be honest, one of my favorites for sure.
Check out my last list too, tell me what you think.
gonna grab a bite first, you can see from my pic its 7am
Good list
>Pretty good Christmas, was incredibly happy, what about you?
Went to my grandmothers, helped her around the house and ate about 5 plates of various meat, salad and potatoes. Think I'm still full from that, lol.
>Non verbosity becomes somewhat magical
The thing I first imagined was awkward scenes from Aki Kaurismäki's films where the characters just sit together around a dinner table. A lot of new films to me, and new directors. One of the films is based on Gogol's writings and I've read him! My father has a huge bookshelf dedicated to Russian literature.
Just started dl'ing the megalink, thank you for it.
Sounds like a comfy Christmas my dude, I'm glad.
I dont know what I envisioned with the list, but really liked making it for some reason lol.
I really like viy but I've never seen the film adaptation(s), there's something so attractive about the folklore in that regions to me. What film is it that's based on a Gogol work?
You should check out the Eve of Ivan Kupala and Sayat Nova if you like Shadows Of Forgotten Ancestors.
>You should check out the Eve of Ivan Kupala
That's the one: en.wikipedia.org
I know Sayat Nova by name, but I'll hurry it up since the bits I watched from SOFA were really interesting.
My two favs
cool, ill check it out, thanks! Merry Christmas
btw. the file works. Thanks a lot for that.
Why does everyone like Elle so much? I thought it was pretty average, 'Things to Come' being the superior Huppert film. Honest question, what did everyone enjoy about it?
I've been thinking of checking out Little Sister
Good thing, any problems or if you can't find any film just message me.
...
Do it senpai, very comfy
It's one of the best films of the year. Great music, not too much melodrama, and of course CIA. The soundtrack really is excellent, only real flaw is that there's no way a bunch of 14 year olds could write songs that good
Hell or High Water
Nice Guys
Arrival
I don't watch too many movies tbqh, I don't know why I spend so much time here.
Then why did you say it wasn't a good flick? It was really gorgeous, like what Moonrise Kingdom could have been, but without the bland and uninteresting color palette and composition.
The ginger bully was incredible.
MK is one of the decade's best films, plebus
Didn't see many movies but it goes:
Hacksaw Ridge>Shin Godzilla>Zootopia>Rogue One>>>>>>>Suicide Squad
It's my favorite Anderson, surprisingly enough. I'm not a fan of his stylistic decisions though.
Thoughts?
...
huh - looking at this now it looks pretty bad. i missed a lot of stuff this year
here is my catch up list
january is gonna be a busy month
