Because atheism is seen by the most recent generations as “rebellious”, and religion is seen as a tradition that has to be taken down and has no good place in society as a whole, the same way as restrictions in abortions and immigration, for example.

Just look at how academics turned secularism into antitheism as of now. It's only natural when you look at how they work.

That doesn't mean all atheists are liberals, or that all liberals are atheists, though. From my personal experience a lot of modern female leftists are Christian.

Because atheists are in general not all typically overly concerned with signalling to others that they are intellectual and smart, similarly, liberals are strongly of the belief that they are more intelligent than everyone else. As a result they tend to go hand in hand as a method of virtue signalling rather than any factual or accurate indicator of intelligence.

Being atheist and conservative is like being black and conservative, It makes logical sense to join that group, but the majority of them don't want you there.

People who are less educated tend to be more religious and conservative so the opposite is naturally true. It also depends on the type of education. I haven't seen many conservatives in the social sciences. More conservatives seem to be in business.

Atheists don't get their values, norms and morals handed to them from jealous, vengeful, vindictive sky gods. Atheists depend instead on logic, reasoning and their own cognitive ability to craft equitable and consistent ethical systems.

I don't think there's a perfect philosophy considering there are assholes in every camp.
Other atheists I know seem to be more left leaning because it's popular to be.
A lot of atheists are not as smart as they profess to be and ride a lot of bandwagons. I think people crave having a cause or some kind of axe to grind to feel fulfilled in life and with so many causes out there they have the pick of the litter. A lot of them are lazy so they pick the low hanging fruit that is leftism because it's easier to be told what to think/feel.
I'm not saying I have the moral highground, but I keep my atheism to myself and think for myself as often as I can. I try to follow good judgement and stay out of people's way. I don't think I need a god to be moral but I can appreciate some of the lessons other people's religions have to offer. I adopt as many peaceful philosophies as I can and do my best to make others content when I'm around them. I don't like it when honest and true hearted people are restricted or vilified, especially politically. That's why I'm conservative. I think it's the humane approach of leaving each other the fuck alone and doing the best you can in all facets of your own personal life. Doing so reaps rewards. Ive found that if you live as a conservative you get the respect, you behave morally, and you live a more fulfilling life. I think it helps you feel good to think for yourself and respect the family unit. I have a white wife and daughter with another on the way. Those things bring about good communities and solid relationships. I think having a homogeneous community is a wonderful thing, and I'm lucky to live in one. I like Christians. Their convictions are intoxicating, in a good way. I love how passionate they can be telling their stories. You're a bunch of good people getting the shit end of the stick lately. Thanks to those of you that don't treat me like shit for not agreeing on one part of your belief.

The Church has a function of creating a community with consistent values. Yes, I agree there are huge problems with religious moral systems. But I also have problems with atheists then using the state to try and impose values by force on society.

Yes but atheists absolutely fail to promote these values without using the government's gun to do so. Societies work best when they share values, and so far, atheists haven't been able to propose a value system that isn't progressivism or utilitarianism backed up by the government's power.
