>her

They took something that was already a poser exploitation flick and it even more tame. Watch Flesh For Frankenstein and Phantom of The Paradise instead.

The accent was fucking horrible.

>Phantom of The Paradise
My nigga

I don't know. Most people say she's a woman, but her voice is kinda masculine.

Completely ruined the character. Over-acted and overdid the accent. Couldn't sing for shit and was nowhere near as hot as Tim Curry was.

Who is this goofball?

I found Laverne 's Frank to be really whiny and annoying. While Tim Curry just emanated power!

That's Winslow Leach. He's the composer. His music is for Phoenix. Only she can sing it. Anyone else who tries, dies.

And does Jaws know he's using his dentures?

nigga, Jaws is using HIS dentures.

After the trainwreck that was Hairspray Live! hopefully studios cut it out with this shit

her range sucked she could not hit the notes right
but she did had the right energy for it and seemed like she was trying

>cross dressing character
>Hurr we gotta get a full blown tranny to play him

Sjws just always seem to miss the mark.

>alien character
>have earthling play it
Jesus fucking Christ why do they keep doing this shit?

They mistook TRANSvestite or TRANSperson.

Also in the original RHPS , Transsexual meant bisexual.

Frank was a transvestite FROM transsexual Transylvania.

Didn't put even a 10th of the emotion that Curry put into his performance:

Wasn't Tim Curry an earthling too? Though I agree that it's not right to cast an actual trans woman in the role of a male transvestite.

Like a santized corporate approved unfunny version of the original.

The true campy midnight film for people who aren't flaming faggots or mall goths.

>someone thought pic related was a good idea

They didn't actually do that did they....

>using an actual transexual to portray a transvestite

what were they thinking

He played the Criminologist
Y'know, the really campy guy who stood up on his desk and did the time warp

It's a stroke to the left.

>All those scenes
>He couldn't stand up, change his facial expression, emote, had to clearly read from a teleprompter with zero voice inflection and a voice like an 80 year old man

Genuinely heartbreaking to see.

Seriously. They probably meant it as a nice thing ("fans will like it, and I'm sure he could use the money") but, fuck. I'd rather they didn't.
