Literally none of the rock, metal or grunge from the 70s to the 2000s would have happened without KISS

I say this as a mainly jazz and hip hop fan, Kiss rules. Saying otherwise only reveals your own lack of awareness

grunge literally has no kiss influence, other than utterly despising it and making their sound the complete opposite. Metal, other than glam doesn't take after kiss

Revenge and Carnival Of Souls were great albums. Their sound was going to the heavy side, but then the reunion happened and they slipped back into their old, shut ways. Kiss was always better when Gene sang anyway.
