I wear my patch kutte when going out every now and then, maybe my bullet belt too- but I actually threw away most of my metal clothing (and most graphic tees as a whole too) and instead have opted into the "less is more" way of life for clothes.
It sounds pretentious and filled with faggotry, but I guess at 25 years old I just don't see a point in spending $20+ on a shirt with some band on it when I can just wear plain clothes and look nicer.
I still have 10 graphic tees that I wear every now and then with most of them being metal related, but aside from a Nortt shirt I saw the other day, I haven't even had an urge to buy clothing outside of basics.
I'm happier.

My rule is that I have to like the art independent of the band and I have to like the band enough to want to discuss it with strangers. I have a few edgelord designs I wear at horror events/shows.
Its a bit juvenile but I haven't found it to affect me negatively in any way socially. People at parties will give me complements based on the art, and I've made friends just riding the train/at bars with other metalfags.

I'm also sitting on some amp simulation tracks I made with BIAS FX which sound way too polished and studio like, is there a good way to make it sound more old analog and necro? if not I'll just reamp them and at least it will sound more raw like the other recordings
