A good one
>nihilistic spoken word like what's on the left album
>but screamed instead of spoken, like on the right album
I'll make it and call the genre "screamed word"
Look out for me.
clppng but good
Violent by Design 2: Electric Boogaloo
Nice sounding, yet compellingly powerful (obviously), underrated. And can be described as analogous to flying above an ocean with no land in sight, viewing an orange vanilla sky sunset.
That collab album that never happened between Jimi Hendrix and Miles Davis
When Man and Machine Collide
Fantano's drone metal album.
This is already a band
La Dispute
I wished there was a decent follow-up to Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness
I would have called it: "Even Tied and the Silver Circle"
It would be another double disc album featuring a picture of a jester on a crescent moon
This but an actual studio album with original songs
A goth rock album but with the intensity and speed of an anerican hardcore album
Type O Negative - Slow Deep and Hard
a glitch hop album sampling weeks of recording from a busy street section sped up to build some sick drums
The Stooges first album except they have time to write more songs. When they came to the studio, they only had "I Wanna Be Your Dog", "No Fun", "1969", "Ann" and "We Will Fall". They wrote the rest of the album overnight and it shows. The quality of those 5 songs are incredible though.
a collection of all my favourite mellowed out hiphop tracks that i can get blazed as fuck and chill out whilst listening to
oh wait it's called my playlist
just mix adore together with the adore outtakes from judas o
Same
Oh shit that sounds insane.
St. Vincent's concept album where she's a dominatrix who writes songs about her experiences
Molly Colly and the Intimate Sandwich by the Matching Pumpkins, written by Bleak Organ
It's like To Be Kind but purely electronic.
that already exists though
Anything new, but played, recorded, and engineered as before 2000, and actually catchy without being stupid. I swear all modern music is designed to be forgettable or marketed to kids.
Post?
delet this
Exploded View maybe
An album that is like the "why is pinkerton Sup Forumscore again" copypasta
One that's so good it literally kills me
>the cover is a good black and white street photo on a black frame
>it's an eclectic art pop record dominated by reverberated smooth electric pianos and single coil guitar riffs with tremolo
>sweet vocals, both male and female
>intimate lyrics
>organs/synths/strings on certain tracks but not the core of the sound
>it's between 45 and 50 minutes in length
A winter-themed, bleak, depressing, metal album with clean vocals
Dance pop/electro clash with aggressive punky vocals
The album Bowie was going to make with Michael Rother and Jaki Liebezeit before his managers sabotaged the project fearing that it would be too uncommercial.
Melting sun by Lantlos.
some of fuck buttons stuff is kind of like that
...
A shoegaze album with the atmosphere of no sanctuary by amebix with influences of early swans
An album that is as comfy as this song youtu.be
Pls share
Jimi Hendrix was originally meant to play guitar on Bitches Brew but he died. Now imagine that.
Abrasive version of Eraser. Think Yeezus but with singing instead of rapping.
In general just something like Eraser please, fuck, why is it so hard to mix idm-y hip-hop beats and singing.
youtube.com
this maybe?
This is kinda fitting, wish vocals weren't as intense.
The end is super good tho. Is the whole album like this?
Its kind of a mixed bag, Not much else sounds like that but its all good stuff.
An album that is both sonically and lyrically good and also has some nice fucking cover art. That's the rarest thing.
Beach House - Bloom
I wish Beach House made only one or two albums. The fact that every other album of theirs sounds almost note-for-note the same really soured me on them for some reason.
Happy and uplifting concept album.
Does someone have any reccomendations?
...
Circle Takes the Square's As The Roots Undo, but classical Emotional Hardcore instead of screamo/math.
It's impossible because music sucks
Rivers teased its release on Instagram a while back. I hope he was serious.
The Melvins' Stoner Witch but with the lyrical storytelling of Sufjan Stevens.
He was also going to play with ELP, and call the band HELP.
Another Astral Weeks.
Improvised, jazzy, acoustic, with British Isles folk influences and a powerful voice lilting in and out in between various solos.
Tim Buckley is close of course, but not quite the same.
Already listened to this.
Maybe something less "pc music"?
The Wrens' next release that will never come out.
night-time vibe deep house/uk garage with deep bass and breathy female vocals
closest i've ever got is this song
youtube.com
A concept album about Ray Bradbury, rap, prog, or even electronic would be good. Or even something in the style of Joanna Newsom.
contemporary glam with androgynous vocals
so a sequel to night dolls with hairspray
this too
i feel pathetic knowing i've acknowledged them since their debut and now diggs is on fucking hamilton.
It does exist. You can listen to the whole thing.
for such an excellent set of people this album isn't that good
this if it was written by folk musicians
Yeah I know. It was basically just thrown together by the record label (Island) to promote their brand. But it has so much potential.

holy fuck how I wish these three worked together more; on a related note, I wish that there was a Robert Fripp-Percy Jones-Phil Collins project of some sort
how do i listen to disengage?
is it on soulseek or youtube?
A Grouper album with vocals you can actually understand
>constant guitar clashing and progressing going through an emotional roller coaster
sort of an inaccurate and bad description
Lofi Progressive rock and dont tell me CSH
Kanye and Bon Iver make an album together with some crazy beats from arca
neofolk influenced screamo
>compellingly
youtube.com
didnt mean to add >compellingly
like sufjan stevens but without the gay
that sounds amazing
expertly crafted bait
An entire album of just slow slide guitar blues. No lyrics, no dance numbers, no rockabilly ones just slow paced blues. If you want, a harp can be thrown in.
what you think of this
bump
Glitch folk with an amazing atmosphere and sound design.
This would be great too
A fourth Stooges album in 74-75 with studio versions of the demos and live bootlegs from that time would be awesome too
Atmospheric crescendo-core but good.
NWOAHM-influenced emo trap (the fine line between Peep and screamy X)
A Death Grips album with huge dynamic contrasts and shifts between aggressive styles to slower and more emotional parts.

A good Animal Collective album but all the vocals are Fleet Foxes
