Will we ever top him?

Will we ever top him?

its impossible

true

We already did with Hindemith.

Be he looked up to and emulated Bach, his successes are also Bach's successes for that.

We already did, his name is Brian Wilson.

That guy is pretty much the budget Bach, user.

I think OP is talking about composed music

Hans Zimmer is miles better this dead cunt

Hans Zimmer is a fraud and a hack.

so many times already, with Beyonce, SZA, Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar

please

Then how comes that he composes for the beat films
Guy is a true visionary, in 100 years he'll be remembered as the greatest composer to ever grace this planet

>beat
best

>still clinging to old dead white men instead of creative black women who are far more talented
back to Sup Forums with you

That fag let's interns compose for him and then takes all the credit.

>black
>women
>talented
I don't have to be Sup Forums to see what's wrong with that.

>implying Beethoven didn’t

okay becky have fun with your unseasonsed food, you uncultured pos

great post Sup Forums

>comparing food and music when talking about culture

*blocks ur path*

So did Beethoven. You really believe that some deaf retard could compose all that music by himself?

He was only deaf in his final years before he died...

If he had a lifetime of experience behind him and knew music theory like the back of his hand as Beethoven did then yes.

you're clearly just a salty white male, so it makes sense to do so. White males have no culture and cannot understand the depth and greatness of art made by WOC. You also don't season your food cause you think it's too spicy.

weak bait

This entire thread is riddled with weak cuck baits

OP here, you're all retards

This but even more ironically

We? No. But plenty of others have.

Bach's overrated as fuck. His music lacks dynamics (the structure of the music discourages them, too despite baroque era's "leave stuff like dynamics up to the performer" tradition), harmonically he relies on the BACH motif way too much while doing the same damn approach to having "colorful" chord progressions which make them sound the same in the end, and melodically he relies way too much on the same ascending/descending lines (you hear them a ton on WTC and the Brandenburgs the most) and also relies on that trill sounding end to his cadences a lot, too. The dude's music has no real flow or feeling of a journey to it like western art music that came after him, thus it lacks that emotional impact as the constant just melodies has this static feel to it in the end despite there being constantly notes being played in all directions. For the sake of always having wildly running counterpoint, the music sacrifices itself in all other aspects to achieve this.

Nice pasta.

i chuckled

Out of the way time to post actual talent.
