Where do you stand?

Where do you stand?

>calling them derbys
Nobody in America uses that word unless it's a horse race, wtf is wrong with them?

Larping

are the horsies from same town

Lets go nycfc! Lets go doopin' mental! Gayness aside i go for nycfc cause its hometown and they're pretty good, 2-1 win in stoppage time yesterday

>Texas derby
>Live on Unimas
Just nuke this whole state already

The funny thing is that Mexican-Americans refuse to watch MLS, they overwhelmingly prefer Liga MX and the Spanish league. MLS's solution seems to be....act as British as possible? It's strange.

No. Although that would be pretty cool.

>rivalry week
oh, Ameridoops

No.
Nuevo Tejas within our lifetime

>tfw the state gets renamed to Nuevo Tejas
>tfw all the "hispanics" in Texas pronounce it New-eevo Tayjas because they don't speak Spanish

Don't forget your chants!

>"derby" between cities hundreds of miles apart

it's not a derby if the winner doesn't get to gloat in front of the loser on monday

for me it's dallas, red bulls and sounders

Sallad, red bull, Portland

I like some of the players on NYC, but cringy expansion team "fans" are just as bad as Seattle fans. And I just don't like Houston (though they're more fun now with their fast as hell Hondurans).

DOOP is Philadelphia, not nyc

All of North-Rhine Westphalia would be considered one city in America

Can someone tell me the storied history of the Cascadia Cup?

There's lot of fighting and winning involved.

i heard they fought and won and fought again

Tbf the entire league is only 21 years old

Did they just invent a trophy for their rivalry? It's like The Ashes but with no story behind it.

The rivalry dates back to the late '70s or something when teams with these names played in the original NASL
The current teams have no connection to the old ones (which folded along with the NASL in the '80s) other than the names, but Seattle and Portland share rivalries in other things other than soccer

The winner of the Texas one gets a cannon, I think. Pretty cool, desu.

Dynamo, NYCFC, and the T's

It says june?

>Texas Derby
Fair enough. They're in the same state.

>New York Derby
Well they're in the same city so that's alright.

>CASCADIA CUP
Fucking no.

the Cascadiac up is >ours

...

Hmm correct. I think they've had three more derby weeks by now.

You've got it completely backwards. Out of those three, the "Cascadia Cup" is the only one that makes sense because Seattle and Portland actually have a rivalry. The NY thing is shitty because both teams are transparently foreign marketing tools.

>Houston and Dallas are in the same state
They're further away from one another than Paris is from Berlin

Yeah the blantant, unimaginative copying of what yuros do is cringey as fuck

>manufactured rivalries
It's shit.

>hating on the only real mls derby
