catchy, i like the sound this is cool, getting some mixed Ulver vibes too very nice, though I wish the intro/main melody was included in the second drop, that would be even better in my opinion!

Really fucking love the lead Owhoohoo this is dank
I don't like it. You got a lot of plays though, so you've found your fan base. It's the singing I don't really like, and the vocals don't sound recorded to clean but maybe that's the sound? Your rhyme scheme isn't too creative either and I hear a lot of the same words back to back. Sorry if that was a bit harsh.
These are all so interesting, experimental yet kinda basic. I like the songs but I can never tell where they're going haha. They lowkey remind me of Runescape music from 2007 (not a bad thing, it gives me nostalgia) I'm loving the style dude. Im def gonna follow you lol. The voice is very fitting for the music, it reminds of the strokes but more mellow. That's good :) You definitely pulled off the cyberpunk feel. I love the electronic feel the songs put off.

Feedback is highly appreciated, I return all love on SC

>These are all so interesting, experimental yet kinda basic. I like the songs but I can never tell where they're going haha. They lowkey remind me of Runescape music from 2007 (not a bad thing, it gives me nostalgia) Thank you. It's kind of funny, as there are actual MIDI sequences that I did back in 2006-2007 somwhere there, maybe reposted from another of my soundcloud channels. I never played Runescape, but maybe other games with similar music were an influence.
I like your vaporwave works a lot, it's the kind of vaporwave I like (slower tempos, interesting timbres). I can't say as much about the triphop material, as I don't listen to the genre as much, but I can tell you have a similar, coherent style when doing this as well.
I think I like the "Bard" style a little more, at least among those two pieces. I like how, in the piece you linked here, the lyre part builds complexity. I saw a comment that it might need more instruments, but that particular piece is definitely fine. I know that it's dungeon synth and all, but it makes me want to hear it on an acoustic instrument as well.
The "spooky" tracks are also very good; I like the rich textures. I just think that the one you posted has a bit too much of a "cheesy haunted house" feel at times. If you call this "spooky" as well, I think I like it better than the one you posted:
At first, I thought I didn't like the ghostly synth sounds in the upper register, but I hear the dissonance they add. Maybe, in this piece or in a future one, you could play on this more, and make it progressively "build dissonance" or something.
I like these a lot. It's the kind of ambient-electronic that's both calming and promotes focus. Would be perfect in those "music for programming" playlists, which I enjoy a lot (and not just for doing work to).
>I think I like the "Bard" style a little more, at least among those two pieces. I like how, in the piece you linked here, the lyre part builds complexity. Thanks. It took me a bit of time to do that it a way that I thought did not feel 'forced'.
>I saw a comment that it might need more instruments, but that particular piece is definitely fine. I know that it's dungeon synth and all, but it makes me want to hear it on an acoustic instrument as well. I was actually trying to make it minimal in regards to instruments as I wanted to give it an 'adventurers around a fire' feel. Blossoming of a Tranquil Era only has two lyres and a tabla. I would love to play a real lyre some day.
> The "spooky" tracks are also very good; I like the rich textures. I just think that the one you posted has a bit too much of a "cheesy haunted house" feel at times. I see. This is something I will keep in mind with other spooky songs.
>If you call this "spooky" as well, I think I like it better than the one you posted: soundcloud.com/user-322278826/sailing-to-the-forgotten-forebears-sanguine-dwelling That was originally supposed to be a spooky song but it ended up happier. I actually thought it was one of my worse songs, but it seems to have gotten good feedback.
I feel like you really have something interesting going here. You don't see a lot of stuff in this style in these threads. Some things I would recommend is perhaps using using different musical modes and chords in order to spice up the harmonic material in your compositions. But that's just my take. Keep at it.
>Some things I would recommend is perhaps using using different musical modes and chords in order to spice up the harmonic material in your compositions. I will try that. I've been trying to use different modes, but I'm pretty bad at it right now and need more practice. For the bardy stuff using different chords gets a bit more challenging since I tried to limit the notes I use to what a lyre has (7 notes of a scale in one octave). This makes different chords a bit more challenging as I am limited to a single octave on each lyre. I will try it though.
Thanks for the feedback.

Just released this. Super proud, but don't know if it sounds kind of weird. What do you think?

Just trying to get as much feedback as I can on my newest song, any comments left on soundcloud will returned Thank you! If you like what you hear be sure to hit that follow button! More music coming soon!
"Gasoline" has a nice chord progression. The piano is synthesized, right? I was going to say perhaps turn down the reverb a bit, but if it's synthesized, then it's probably fine (synthesized pianos sometimes sound bad if there isn't enough reverb).
Jaxon Cooper
I like the background beat/instruments, especially in the first song. I can't comment as much on the rapping, but it's pretty chill.
Aiden Phillips
I like the instruments in Sweetheart, especially the high-pitched synths that sound a bit like flutes.
I think I put too much instrumentals on my song and focused it less on the lyrics - if I had to personally criticize my song. I'll try to rap better next time and emphasize more on the rap rather than instrumentals.
- Also guys, there's two threads with the same amount of replies. Please CTRL + F before starting a new one.
Thank you my dude! I saw you listening to every one of my tracks, that was pretty decent. I'll get back to you shortly with some crits! (I'm the "sham" guy)
This sounds really nice, good production and vocals. I guess the vox COULD be pumped up a bit but I do like how they sit in the mix.
This is nice, man

I like your melodies. Keep up this style, you do it well. It's very pleasant and refreshing. You don't need to give it a "genre."
Brayden Johnson
Nice use of distortion there. I like this sound. Almost like a disembodied Rhodes.
I hear some other nice distortion effects throughout the album, as well.
Lucas Green
Listened to some of your stuff and I the drive in your music is awesome! really draws me in. Overall kickass production value and sound. I like the more upbeat mood in eleven more than the industrial ominous vibe you got going in other tracks, but both are really well done. That drive is damn nice.
thanks man, I'll keep it up!
Levi Davis
Thank you, I'm really into that distortion, even if it's a product of shitty recording equipment
