what's with black not giving Jimi Hendrix his deserved recognition, i know he is dead but so is Tupac, MJ, Prince..etc and they rarely mention him anywhere really.

People who think Jimi is overrated haven't listened to enough of his music. Besides his singles, the majority don't know many of his songs.

his music is mainly listened by white people

It's been 50 years, we've had plenty of time to appreciate him. He's one of the most famous musicians in history and is properly recognized as so.

jimi would be considered a coon by black people nowadays. he was a truly good guy who made great music. blacks are too concerned with virtue signaling to mention the good ones like jimi.

He didn't use his celebrity to bring awareness to black issues. Maybe the community view him as a mintrel.

Hendrix turned his back on the things that made him famous, he was fucking sick of it. He went full black with Band of Gypsys, then died. If he hadn't died he'd be a black god by now.
