I liked it
How do you feel about bitches brew? Personally, I listened to almost the whole thing and I think that the only reason anyone likes that album is because it's miles. God, the lineup was so amazing on that album too; such a waste of potential. Also here's some Japanese jazz fusion
Give this album A try.
I'm always afraid to touch that one. I know Sup Forums hypes it up but some people (like an instructor of mine) have told me bitches brew is more of a meme. I'll get around to listening to it eventually.
it's cool but I like to be on heavier drugs hen I listen to it. It's a dope psychedelic chill out. I don't think it's his best but I like the density of it a lot. I have a teacher in a jazz history class once who said he thought the album sounded like shit, like a big mess of people playing over each other with no relation to anything else the others are playing.
Yes I think that its basically a meme, or rather people pretend to enjoy it cause they think it's sophisticated or something
The only enjoyment I got out of the album was when I would single out a part and imagine chords that went along with it, which I guess there's something to be said there. But really it shouldn't be up to the Listener to make shit sound good
I disagree. I don't know dick about chords and I enjoy the album. I don't think people pretend to enjoy it, it is just further out into 'free' music territory that regular jazz heads are pleb about. I just don't listen to it often cause it's long and being long makes it good for heavy drugs.
Hmm. Perhaps I'll have to try it again on acid or shrooms. I was only high on weed
fucking dank choices, all of those are great
