Dino edition ETIQUETTE - Include correct format (artist / band, title of release, year of release, cover art, the file type (v0, 320 mp3, FLAC, etc), short description, YouTube sample, link) - Send thanks if you have downloaded something to let them know they did a good thing - Avoid sharing / requesting things that are already on the archive - Soulseek / rutracker are your friends, too - just don't argue in this thread about it - No samples on YouTube, Soundcloud? Drag'n'drop any mp3 onclyp.it
REQUESTS >I have a request! Did I... - Check the archive for a live link before requesting? - Share something first? - Google "blogspot + artist name + album name"
ARCHIVE >"I don't know how to find what I'm looking for in the archive" - Go here: >archive.rebeccablacktech.com/mu/ - When searching, limit your search to links only, like so: "desired album mega|zippyshare|mediafire" - Make sure you've typed "zippyshare" and not "zippy", or else Zippyshare links will not be found.
It's a shame the interest in the sharethread is this low now, kinda don't see the point in visiting this board anymore because of it. It's been a fun 8 years anyways if it does actually end up dying.

The OP is to blame. There's no reason to have a sharethread up 24/7.
You shouldn't bother starting a sharethread unless you have 20+ albums to share to get the thread off to a good start.
Not really a big factor in my opinion, I just think the overall userbase doesn't care anymore. Everyone streams, and I'd imagine the average Sup Forums poster is young enough to haven't even heard of OiNK (or whatcd for that matter)

Uploading some more shit from my collection, bros. Real mixed bag of genres this time, ranging from Death Grips as if they were chilled out beach bumps to hellish Black Metal made in the asscrack of Colombia to Rock infused J-Pop and whatnot. And in case anyone is wondering, I was a very frequent uploaded on What.cd that has a pretty massive collection of CDs in my possession. Almost everything I share is directly ripped from my own physical copies.
