We have many gagauz in bulgaria. How were you lucky enough to become a businessman? Imppeccable social skills? Connections? I know many bulgarians in the US and they can barely scrape a living in that neoliberal hellhole(not that bulgaria isnt).
If you have a degree in STEM I'm sure there are many jobs in Russia for you and together with less standards and more stable jobs you could have a pretty good life. Most russian tourists in Bulgaria(including poor ones) are filthy rich compared to us Bulgarians.

Became a citizen a US citizen in 08 at 18-20 years old
I'm over 30 years old now
Moved to America with family, started learning English
Found a career, kept applying for jobs, studying and than promotions at work etc....
Luck has a lot to do with it, but I also work hard...

Fuck you're lucky. Most americans even with high end degrees need connections to get jobs and if not they get rejected all their lives since every jobs positions has 1000s of applications. Also even minwage jobs require massive social skills, being female, minority, and years of experience in projects and other jobs+plus reccomendations.

I never had connections since my family wasn't from the US, and I'm the first one with a really good job. Family is (poor) and tough to make connections that way
I just never gave up and made it, I also had times when I was much younger with problems looking for work, many places just don't hire you for many reasons. It can be tough but I never stopped, fuck them for not accepting to hire, they are missing out not the person who keeps trying since if you keep trying and be aggressive with your goals you can make it eventually. Just never gave up and things worked out....
