Do people that live like this in the film really exist in the USA?
Are they 'rednecks'?

The people in Gummo are pleasant compared to most Americans.
roughly 1/3 of americans actually look like this
I prefer to call them white trash.
Yeah in extremely shitty areas, like trailer park people that live off welfare. The town the movie is based on was really hit by a tornado but it's recovered and is your typical quaint town.
Chloe sevigny was so hot in gummo. Bleached eyebrows and all.
Yeah, USA really have a problem with obesity
1/3 is actually a lot of people
That's what i thought too
I will never understand how people could live in a trailer
I agree, that scene with her and the bunny-boy kissing was pretty kino
Red areas look like this
if you're just looking at demographics most poverty is among black americans in the south, so that kind of depraved trashiness is probably more like in that group. not to say it doesn't occur in whites but they'd be from those same kind of areas, generational poverty in areas with not many job opportunities. gross out shit like bathing in literal mud with no self awareness about it is probably a very rare thing.
>most poverty is among black americans
>i just type things and pray nobody calls on me pulling things about of my ass instead of taking 10 seconds to google facts
american, can confirm
I would say more than that
They do exist. They are the retards who voted for Trump.
alright so there's more blacks and hispanics in poverty than whites total, and percentage wise blacks and mexicans either group is more likely to be impoverished
Yes, but please let's not pretend white trash is a rare thing. Years ago I worked in a West Virginia hospital and dear lord, every patient was either 80 pounds or 400 pounds and barely spoke discernible English. Travel far enough to the boonies and you'll find these folks all over.
As far as Gummo, I feel like Korine borrowed heavily from the doc Streetwise, on top of his own experiences, but definitely exaggerated things.
Gummo is my favorite movie because the characters actually remind me of my real life family.
Can someone explain this film?
I thought they were australians.
Nope, I voted Trump and I am a normal guy. I am a weeb though.
IT'S NOT FAIR
>Weeb
>Sup Forums user
>Normal
Nice meme, buddy.
is this movie worth watching?
Nice digits
And yes, it's a unique film with a anormal atmosfere, kinda like a fairy tale.
What is this haircut called?
It accurately describes a redneck small town with fantasy elements of having no religion or drugs
someone still feeling the bern
