Street Spirit makes me tear up desu
...
High and Dry always reminded me of a poignant summer dwelling in the intricacies of reality. Like riding in a train to the south while looking out a window, and wondering what life a random person is living at that specific moment. Maybe a homeless person who, instead of doing the cliche thing of begging for money, roams around places, forever doomed as a wanderer looking for something he'll never find. Or a kid inside a thrift store finding some nifty trinket from 30 years before he was born.
Spiderland
all the time
This
my own music.
because its so bad.
I can't face it, and how I am a complete embarassement comepletely in life.
Care to explain user?
ITT: soyboy general
The Bends makes me cry because it's a reminder that Radiohead hasn't made anything good since 1997.
I got a papercut taking out a piece of paper from a Bruce Springsteen record my mom had as a kid. I was like 5 and I started crying.
Great post, me!
Right Where It Belongs hits strongly on the heart strings, especially the lonely piano notes at the end leave a strong impact.
With_Teeth in general for me is my "go-to" NIN album for feels, even the angrier tracks have a very isolated and lonely feeling, You Know What You Are is a great example of this, it is one of the angriest NIN songs, yet the use of piano during the chorus sounds incredibly sad and lonely.
Another track that classifies is "The Line Begins To Blur", it's easily the most desperate song, full or regret and self-loathing anger, And the choruses sound like the narrator gave up fighting his depression.
Definetelly made me cry, the highlights of this being "How To Disappear Completely" and the heart-breaking closing track
This is one of most open records about self-hate and regret. One thing that struck me as odd is that the beginning track seems to be speaking about narrator improving himself, only to shit the bed because it all goes downhill from him there.
This.
If you haven't cried to this album then you've never been through a break up
lol this, cried to it yesterday
What is THE most underrated Radiohead song and why is it "Bulletproof... I Wish I Was"?
Right Where it Belongs is a great track, nice taste user. With Teeth is the most underrated NIN album by far
>In my dreams, you are alive and you are crying
No idea why With Teeth gets so much hate, people keep moaning about wwanting aggressive NIN and With Teeth is just that.

i like this post.
my sad album
but mainly because i got into it around a time when i could very strongly relate to a lot of the themes
>Lord Give Me Hope
it's unbelievably heartbreaking to hear someone who knows full well that he's mentally ill and that the road ahead of him is going to be long and burdensome and earnestly pleading for hope and to ultimately be whole. it's too fucking much
fuck
How to disappear completely gets me close to tears
I get so energetic and crazy i start shivering and crying. idk why this is like a drug
Only ever cried over Beethoven's music, more specifically Moonlight Sonata
Sometimes a cry when that one whiny redneck band from washington starts going

This album gives me new feelings every time I listen to it. Two Headed Boy pt. 2 is profoundly sad on so many levels, especially as it is starkly contrasted with the previous two tracks. the flow of this album adds to that truth. great record.
this
one of the most devastating albums ever recorded.

I wish I could cry. I've cried once in the past decade, and that was when I got into a drunken physical confrontation with my brother on the one year anniversary of my grandfather dying.
I've teared up at a couple of the albums in this thread, though.
this
i havent listened to this but i know it would make me cry if i did
Ghost Mice - All We Got Is Each Other

Does it count when you never actually cried and lowered your standard of sadness because of that?

Hesitation Marks made me cry, mostly thanks to While I'm Still Here, I Would For You and Fimd My Way, they just hit me in the gut and I cannot put into words why.
I can only listen to this album when I'm really sad cause otherwise it just ruins the rest of my day
