Greatest 60’s rock album

Either pic related or pet sounds for me

The Velvet Underground & Nico
Led Zeppelin II
Electric Ladyland
Revolver
Pet Sounds
Highway 61 Revisited
In the Court of King Crimson

Lots of good ones, hard to pick one.

>Highway 61 over blonde on blonde
Why user? I listen to Like a Rolling Stone 2-4 times a day but I think blonde on blonde is more well rounded

Also wasn’t led zep ii in the 70’s?

I just like the tracks more on it. Desolation Row, Ballad of a Thin Man, Queen Jane Approximately, Like A Rolling Stone, From a Buick 6 are some of the best things he's done. Blonde on Blonde is really good too and it's my third favorite after Highway 61 and Blood on the Tracks.

II was Ocotber 1969.

For me it's either pic related or Black Monk Time. Probably pic related though.

The White Album

A challenger appears

>america is the whole world

To be honest I never really could get into either the stones or the beatles, I always liked American rock music better

that one
TVU&N
[your favorite beatles album]
pet sounds
freak out!
ITCOTCK
astral weeks (if you consider it a rock album)
os mutantes - s/t
led zeppelin I/II

Doors s/t

Good list

i missed the doors but user corrected that

That album was aesthetic as fuck when watching apocalypse now

bob dylan had the best album streak in the 60's no artist could match or top. not the beatles, not the beach boys, not anyone in jazz, dylan was out of this world

Freewheelin bob dylan to Nashville skyline were all classic in three different genres. I never really listened to another side of Bob Dylan though, I hear it’s really underrated.

Yes
LZ1 is better
Axis is better
Rubber Soul is better
No
OP is better
Yes

Its good, but its not great

contrarian opinion incoming

These two or Revolver for me. Hard to believe they all came out within three months of each other.

>Axis > Electric Ladyland
>Rubber Soul > Revolver
>"No" to Pet Sounds

crikey we got a real live one
