Schoenberg created a shitty method of composition that shouldn't have been used as much as it did; most of Serialism is just garabage, with a few exceptions. That's why I dislike him.

Schoenberg was an excellent theorist and teacher. He could have written excellent conventional sounding music, but was more interested in pushing boundaries, which in general is what an artist should do. Also listen to Berg.
