I don't remember
Discovered this in 2016. Has since become one of my absolute favorite albums. Sounds like it's from the distant future.
One week ago. The album was Jesse Sykes - Reckless Burning.
individual songs blow me away. albums can never keep up their own pace.
Sometime this week from The Age Of Naples by Coil
Sometime mid-December.
Today. With American Idiot by Green Day.
It is so popular I always assumed it was shit.
New IDLES, couple days ago
A week ago after hearing College Dropout
It's not like revolutionary or a life-changer by any means but I'm still shocked by how solid this is
fucking amazing album
youtu.be
It's so good guys ;_;
Actually this, but it was a month ago.
And I was revisiting it, and liked it a lot more this time.
When this finally clicked
When I first heard Laughing Stock, so probably like 3 years ago
The last great album (imo) I listened to was Science Fiction, but the first time I heard it I hated it, it grew on me and I wasn't blown away by it.
i feel this opinion and attitude is very in line with the easy to digest music scene you probably chose to follow.
like, you enjoy things, but not if they require any effort unless someone on youtube told you it is ok to like.
around 10 years ago now...
still remember that initial feeling of finding something that incorporated so many different styles and sounds i already liked into one album.
fantastic to just blare in the car out on the freeway
just earlier today actually
perfect synthesis, raw discovery, transcendence
The Ooz
fucking this
just heard this yesterday
king krule - ooz
vulfpeck - beautiful game
98.12.28 Otokotachi No Wakare
I think this one?
I've always been intimidated by this album (as well as the rest of Tim Buckley's discography) because of it's reputation as being inaccessible. The other week I just said "fuck it" and gave it a listen. Nothing's been the same since
Not my favorite album but the last three songs just show how good Brian Wilson is , still like pet sounds though.
Forgot pic sorry
Orginial>>
Heard this for the first time last month
blew me away
Yesterday
I woke up randomly at about 3 AM once and put on Laughing Stock, and it was easily the greatest music experience I've ever had. The weird part is, I didn't really like it before then, and I haven't liked it since, but I don't think it was a dream.
completely floored me
tfw you'll never again hear it for the first time
...
listened to this a few days ago
kinda sad I wrote it off for so long but better late than never
>tfw will never discover TBLA for the first time ever again
>Piernikowski - No Fun
>last December
>minimal Dungeon Synth instrumentals & gloomy Polish rap
I didn't expected this to be good in any way but damn, it is amazing
Pic related. I relistened to it like 4 days ago, so fucking good.
Last night actually. It's the first time I've been seriously blown away by an album in ages. I've never heard anything like it really.
A few months ago.
I still discover something new each listen
What's the most approachable album by Death Grips?
Yeezus
it doesn't happen that often, but I could feel something shift in my brain when I heard it the first time
There are so many moments where this album seems to be somewhere between running and stumbling, collapsing onto the floor, and it's absolutely fucking glorious.
si tu parles français
hater's killah
Probably money store its what most people would recommend and it got me getting into them more
IT'S TOO FUCKING GOOD youtube.com
...
I must have listened to this a hundred times, it's the most fun I've had with a pop record literally in years
mmmmmmmmmmmm no
I won't pretend it's a popular choice...
I was blown away by how fucking awful it was
But I'm really glad you enjoyed it user, at least it made someone happy.
Have you been posting about this album for the past 1-2 years?
Agreed. This album is something else. I've probably listened to it at least twice a day ever since the first listen. I don't melodies are crazy catchy. They aren't exactly complex.
>She's my sweet sweet candy may
>Got me stuck and I want to stay
I got around to listening to Process by Sampha the other day and was pleasantly surprised.
When this thing dropped
Just now
