Why is this album so controversial?
Why is this album so controversial?
Literally kill whitey: the album
it's not
It's pretty overrated but still good, basically a contrarian fag's wet dream
Literally bait whitey: the thread
it isnt
because wanting to kill wh*Te """""""people""""""" isnt controversial statement
Cuz its fucking shite for those outside murica and UK. No one gives a fuck about black music samples and shit like that. It just doesnt sound good to people outside those cultures
It's highly acclaimed even though it's molten trash
Because even though it's one of the most vibrant, emotional, and well-produced albums of all time, it gets contrarian fags all stirred up for seemingly no reason. Best guess is that Fantano gave it a 10 and that's somehow a viable reason to hate an album, or maybe it's that shitty bait that has never been funny.
Exhibit A: the hopelessly unfunny amount of irony and buzzword-heavy fallacies in this thread
This so very hard, half of it means nothing to me
Institutionalized is the best track on it and you can fight me on that
Because it's not very good, but it was released at literally the right time, by literally the right person, with literally the right message. It was the perfect album to get behind for all music critics and the media, who all largely hate white men.
You have a very black male releasing a very woke album propping up black culture while simultaneously shitting on whites. The BLM movement was at full speed at this point. What better way to stick it to whitey than to talk about how this album is one of the greatest albums ever made, using the new method of determining how good an album is: how "woke" that album is politically, rather than how good the album actually sounds.
Musically, TPAB is a very mediocre, unmemorable album. But every soyboy hipster who reads Shitfork loves it because muh woke messages and fuck white people
Y'ALL WYT FOLKZ IZ DEMANZ
Literally this. Only two songs on here I could even put up with listening to.
That song where he raps about his dick not being free is possibly one of the worst tracks I've ever heard in my life.
This bait is old enough to drive
>Because it's not very good, but it was released at literally the right time, by literally the right person, with literally the right message.
>soyboy
what kind of cognative dissonance are you capable of if you use the word "literally" three times in rapid succession, then call others soyboys
overuse of the word "literally" is a leftist/libtard stereotype
Who is this bait targeting? people who have never heard the album?
What kind of soyboy are you to not realize I'm mocking the way your ilk talks
You trickster! Pack it up boys, he was just pretending to be retarded.
Wow is this your first day here?
it's shit but people exist who think shit music is good music
When in doubt, just cry newfag.
>reply to thread with shitty opinion
>not satisfied
>post again
>"hmmmm but what if they accuse me of samefag"
>"maybe i should just not use any punctuation or capitalization"
>"woah it's like im a new person"
I think that's DAMN.
It's only controversial on here because mu is full of neets who are jealous of blacks because they get more women than them.
Muh Oppression : The Album
Well, of course. It wasn't made for you in mind. Kendrick isn't trying to reach out to you he's reaching out to the people who share his experiences and create unity through those shared experiences of race/nationality.
Can someone make an actual case for this? How does black empowerment equal to >ooga booga kill whitey
...
You're probably right but that's pretty autistic to point out.
nail on the head
the "controversy" is people intentionally stirring drama because it works without fail
Not really. You see that too often, and people think they're super crafty.
Because it's fake deep
because soyboys feel so threatened by anything a black artist says and can't handle a slightly political massage just like they can't handle seasoned food.
its not controversial. Sup Forums is just shit lol
It doesn't, but you knew that wasn't what that user meant.
>soyboys don't like conscious rap
Hmm I wonder who could be behind this post
