Thank you! I'm not sure about lyrics, I was planning on whatever I release next being instrumental and very musically sparse. I just don't like listening to my own voice, and I feel like I'm forcing myself whenever I do sing.
I've found a sound that I quite like in this mishmash of I guess slowcore, emo and bluegrassy folk. I'll try to do more with it.
Btw, you have a sc or bandcamp? I'd happily listen if you put something out
I'm not here to please your baby ears with twinkly acoustic guitars buddy, I'm trying to paint a gritty picture of workplace violence

you can't communicate anything with that built-in solid state amp effect. it doesn't sound gritty or purposeful, just amateurish and campy. if you want to communicate discomfort and pain try a little fucking harder yeah i can see it being solo instrumental. what kinds of other instruments would you want on it? don't have a sc or bandcamp rn sorry :o you can't just lazily strum a few chords and have it be a full song by itself, man. like that song "make the show". at least sing or something there's not nearly enough going on for it to be an instrumental track

if I made you say "oof" then my work here is done, pleb

don't be ignorant, man. i know what you're trying to do. it's not a good song. the flange effect says "i want my guitar to be coarse and jarring to listen to but all i have is this 100 dollar starter-kit amp".
Dylan Long
i keep re-reading your posts but all i get out of it is "waahhh im a spoiled little rich kid"

Okay no problem. Hah, besides acoustic and electric guitar the only other instruments I own are a glockenspiel and tambourine. I just want to make a minimalistic demo of guitar instrumentals where there's plenty of unfilled negative space. I'd love to have a piano or electric organ but I don't have the money or the space.
Some of my favorite records are the one guy/girl with an acoustic guitar/piano in a room types, so I just want to do my own version of that kind of thing.

Did you finish make the show? Its not instrumental theres vocals at the end
