Rock is based on riffs and heavy drums. Which are derived from blues. Which is simple music you brainlet.

If rock is supposed to be simple, explain post-punk and prog rock? And you may not find them boring, that's okay. But at least for Cage the Elephant, so many of their songs just fall flat, especially the choruses.
