I didn't buy with my own money but my grandma got an album at Best Buy for me and two of my cousins, I got Black Sabbath - Paranoid, my cousin got Michael Jackson's - Dangerous, and my other cousin got The Police - Every Breath You Take: The Classics. We shared and listened to each album and it was pretty nice honestly

This is literally exactly what happened with one of my cousins. I still love him though, but I miss just listening to random albums we would borrow from friends/family

I miss going into record stores before discovering my genre preferences and just buying whichever albums had cool art
