Have told you before but incredibly talented. Great album, insightful into a heartbroken and funny mind. Texas needs more artists like you. If you're ever in the Houston area let us know pls

Oh i totally get it. Texas is huge, i don't blame you. Any chance your music will be on spotify?

These first guys on your BC are interesting. How did you run into them? Are any of your projects on this?

An album inspired by what's going on in the world. My latest album and my greatest so far.

Wow that song about that cat was crazy. Sounded almost Primus inspired. Not really my kind of thing, but no doubt you saw talent in these guys and should continue to promote them if you believe in them

Never mind, Ratz and Super Volcano are super fun

Slipping in Celtic Knots is a beautiful opener

But Irish Winter was the most beautiful of them all

Holy shit it's out, it's here
Judging by the first song, it's definitely a big step forward. I hear glitch, indie electronica, freak folk, neo-psychedelia
I hope this gets big.

lets collab

real simple but the vibe justifies it.
actually this goes through a lot of stuff just does it slowly. really cool bird-like sounds 3:30 in to the first track.
i'd like to hear this with the percussion turned up, kick/808/whatever especially. turned up and refined so that it's a more essential part of the track. this may take it away from ambient territory and more into something else but i'd say it's worth seeing.

lizard simulation is a really good track name. more like that please. on this track the percussion's position in the mix seems more appropriate, but what i said above could also be cool for this.

third track is more bangin while still in chill vibes area. cool crisp region. might freestyle over this with the boys. you smoke weed huh. oh shit 1:05 that took me by surprise, oh shit it just did again when the shit cut out. and then again when it came back in a lil off the beat. really great stuff right there. gonna listen to this one again later. i like that the chords are getting off the beat. got a little weird with the speeding up but thats the track i get it.

the silence in the 4th track took me by surprise and i had to look to see if it was still playing. cool though. vibe with the title of this too.
this last track felt kind of boring. would be cool if you brought in a contrasting part with more and faster moving chords, maybe a new instrument layer doing a melody on top. some hazy midi trumpet or something. as is it's kind of just the same thing over and over, and the vibe didnt pull me in as much as in the first track.

overall i really like this and am gonna download.

When I collab with Dave Roland :v)

Often becomes a distorted mess, I would say if you want "psychedelic noise" you either master it or make the whole thing distorted and saturated. I think I made the same mistakes with Fáradt a Hegy, it's too melodic and clean-sounding to be classified as harsh noise, but too intense to be enjoyable as an ambient album.
Also, your "bitcrusher" type distortion is my kryptonite, I never really liked it, and gets pretty annoying in noise and electronic music. An exception is Igorrr, because he uses it to make the listener feel uneasy.

are you the producer? cool beat definitely. piano sample you chose in this first track stays interesting the whole way through. what's it from? that track reminded me of something but i can't think of it right now. Jonwayne! that's what
i also really liked the first verse rapper's flow especially. second verse rapper's too, is that you?

2nd track the beat is less interesting, so i should probably be listening to the words but my brain is tired.

3rd track i am liking a lot. what's this sample from? this guys flow meshes interestingly with the timing of the beat. your choruses on this alb so far are catchy as shit and (haha he just said death grips) anyway they are all similar to their neighboring verses, but have "risen up" from the landscape of those verses. cool cool composition. good!

you like that slowdown effect huh. on this 4th track that thing i said about choruses applies as well. how long have you been making hip hop? music in general? seems you know what you're doing and that confidence comes across. don't forget to keep exploring Big Time, even as advanced as you are. however far along you are there is always a buncha shit to the left and right and way up and down and behind and forward and in directions indescribable. always explore! and bring back what strikes you, i dont know.

5th track:
D Major Boiiiii!!!!
ooh fuck, the end of that phrase where it changed and the vibraphone came in really was nice.
this album is a really good listen so far.

6th track the change was a nice change
why i feel so lonely when i have so many friends
:( i like this verse

when i'm making a beat i often make it more complicated and chock full o parts than it needs to be. it's easier to flow over a simple beat like the ones on this album. but when i listen to the beat, i think, i wish this had a bit more to it. i know it's meant to be the background and i should be listening to the rapper first and foremost, but oftentimes (especially when i'm tired) i am listening to the background just as much.
oh i like that slowdown that just happened.

lol wheres bane
i like the samples on this one
this is my kind of beat. simple enough not to hold up the bread and butter, but it interacts with the rapper. there is symbiosis between foreground and background. cool call and response where the rapper does some lines and then a sample comes up

overall i highly, highly recommend this alb to anyone here who likes hip hop or even if you dont. great listen.

interesting texture, and then this other interesting texture rises up. youre a textures kind of guy it seems. a real touch- and taste- er, right? i dont know. this is a cool track, celtic knots.
it just shifted again, really spacey now with the harp kind of sound being the room we're in and the d note blinking kind of a floater on the eye. or it's less of a room and more like dotted white lines in a black space. and we're figuring shit out. this track transitions slowly but it definitely gets somewhere that it was not at first. i like change!!!!!!!!!!!

this 2nd track has a bass line of sorts!!! this is a cool album already.
nice drop off.
oh it's coming back, but wait no something else is happening.
it feels like a beat of some sort but it's really distorted and doesn't do what a beat does. it's more of another texture.
distortion is a great and dynamic and emotional tool but don't forget about great and dynamic and emotional rhythm! it's hard to discern the rhythm going on here because it is very noised up. maybe that's what you intended and this is a very textural thing. my mind was a little torn because it expected a beat but noise is what happened.
i really like the outro on this track.

i really like the opening on this 3rd track. reminds me of seeing black dice live and it was so loud they gave out those foam earplugs in little plastic bags and i heard their set muffled thru them.
this whole album has elements to it that are what i like about black dice. you are a textures kind of guy, it seems. guy/girl/person.
not a lot changes in this track but i am feeling alright.

im happy to hear tonalism now. "comfort through lies" that makes me uneasy. is this lush environment a lie? will have to wait and see. i don't believe it is right now because it is music that i am enjoying.
now youre droning on a note so that must be important somehow.
just as an aside, the cover art for this really is a perfect match for the music. did you make it?

this 5th track is already very interesting.
really made a vibe. i don't know where it went now.
it's just the same thing now. i dont know it felt like from the start it was setting up something, there was a lot of tension in a good way, like where is this going,
but it's just been on the same thing for a long time.
i make shit that does that too though.

cool 6th track
im losing my mind to this album a bit as i have been doing to all these that ive reviewed, this album in particular is bringing me to those places. mixes things up. i used to feel like this in high school a lot. kind of like i dont have control of my mind or situation. i know i do though, that's the difference between consciousness and unconsciousness. im just tired i swear

ah the final track. the track of victory. a journey at its end. where are we now? what has changed since we embarked? the pines on this hill all around are majestic. a thin slice in my vision popped up and then was gone. now it is pine trees on a hill again and i can see the owens valley below. i am feeling outdoorsy.
now it's just sitting here.
i really fell of the ball on this review and started blogging and going crazy. hope some of anything i said helps in some way though.

overall, a journey. don't be afraid of anything. try things you could never see yourself doing, and do them. you could make the coolest music in 100 years.

Lol was that you starring in the video? Great score man, I'm listening to the album from last year

hahaha, thanks for the enthusiastic review and the really nice comment at the end there. everyone says I'm a texture guy, so I guess I'll agree. I did make the artwork as well. I'm always trying new stuff, hopefully I'll be able to show you it. you're really very kind for taking your time to listen.
thanks for listening to man, hopefully you enjoyed parts of it at least. I wouldn't say I'm going particularly for psychedelic noise for the whole thing, but your comment is helpful nonetheless. I plan to make my next release much more distorted on average and I'm selecting the biggest distorted mess of a track for it too if I can polish it a little further than its current state. I like messes at times haha. I did use bitcrusher on a few tracks so you guessed that right. anyways, if you're interested in doing a collaboration we could have a good mix. let me know.
