Some countries are just abnormally bad at things like the the Olympics. India for example is comically underrepresented compared to their population numbers and even GDP. China next door, in comparison, dominates.
I think it's caused by a deliberate government choice not to publicly fund talent scouting programs, not funding gyms (or travel to good gyms), and especially no secret doping program. But idk, just guessing.
I thought Korea was pretty decent though. Can't wait to see those k-qt thigh goddesses in the speed skating games.
