It really is a great film, and uses the characters in really interesting ways. I honestly don't think you could do things like this with characters not so interwoven into pop culture.

Kubric was praised in a time when the audience was still open to be taught lessons through film, audience today think's they're too smart for movies, despite repeatedly proving otherwise, this is why Snyder has been misjudged by the masses of plebs and will never get the recognition he deserves.
If Kubric movies were released in this day and age, they would fare no better than Snyder's.
