Not gonna go through it again. I've done it 30 times and it hasn't changed.
It's roughly here.

Moody Blues - Days of Future Passed
David Bowie - Diamond Dogs
Billy Joel - The Nylon Curtain
Herbie Hancock - Fat Albert Rotunda
Tom Waits - Closing Time

The Cure - Disintegration
Prefab Sprout - The Gunman and Other Stories
Supertramp - Breakfast in America
Keane - Hopes & Fears
Royal Blood -Royal Blood

>this is top 5 out of sentimental value. Not the best I have ever heard, but it means a lot to me sentimentally

Just out of curiousity, why does royal blood have sentimental value for you?

>this is top 5 out of sentimental value. Not the best I have ever heard
Then you did it wrong.

Aphex Twin - Selected Ambient Works Vol. II
Donald Fagen - The Nightfly
Tim Buckley - Starsailor
Sam Cooke - Portrait of a Legend 1951-1964
Boris with Merzbow - Rock Dream

I know this board hates Royal Blood for some reason, and you can call me a pleb, but I like what he does with the bass

It was a breeze of fresh air to me in 2013, and, to be honest, it still is

I wasn't trying to attack you.

I find RB really empty and meaningless and i was just asking what a fellow Sup Forumstant finds in them

Ye, the bass is pretty nice

I don't really care about the lyrics, but they do sound great with the bass and that voice

Also, don't say shit like "fellow Sup Forumstant". We are not Reddit. We are not a community

King Crimson- In the wake of Poseidon
Yes-The Yes Album
King Giz - Paper Mache Dream Balloon
MGMT - Congratulations
Genesis-Selling England by the Pound

My Bloody Valentine - Loveless
Radiohead - In Rainbows
Wire - Pink Flag
NAS - Illmatic
92.12.28 - Fishmans

Metallica-Master of Puppets
Nine Inch Nails-Broken
NIN-The Downward Spiral
Tom Waits-Frank's Wild Years
Green Day-Dookie

>Also, don't say shit like "fellow Sup Forumstant". We are not Reddit. We are not a community
spoken like a true righty libertarian

I just tried to be friendly, but ok.

kys

I'm being friendly too, but don't be cringy. At least not cringier than me, the Royal Blood fan.

When you treat Sup Forums as a community you are being cringy

If you're outside of this area, you're probably need to chill the fuck out in some way.

top 5 are in no particular order
>Ween - Pure Guava
>The Modern Lovers - s/t
>Violent Femmes - s/t
>Cocteau Twins - Treasure
>Iggy Pop - The Idiot

i've never really liked this test, you can give right wing answers for most questions but if you say that multi-national corporations can be dangerous, it puts you on the left. funny because most people would describe me as alt-right

anyway,
The Velvet Underground- White Light/White Heat
The Stooges- Fun House
David Bowie- Station to Station
Talking Heads- Fear of Music
Can- Future Days

...

>Snowing - FYEB
>AJJ - People Who Can Eat People
>Ramshackle Glory - Live the Dream
>Carly Rae Jepson - Emotion
>Danny Brown - XXX

I hold convictions, I'm just not an extremist.

post compass

Political position:
Libertarian right

>Cocteau Twins - Heaven or Las Vegas

The Pop Group - Y
Can - Tago Mago
David Bowie - Heroes
Iggy Pop - The Idiot
Subhumans - From Cradle to the Grave
:)
hitler was technically left of center, just really authoritarian. if that makes you fell any better. trying to quantify the complexity of politics in a primitive grid is kinda silly desu. Also, good taste.

>trying to quantify the complexity of politics in a primitive grid is kinda silly desu.
I at least give this test credit for differentiating between left/right and authoritarian/libertarian. Too many people conflate left with lib and right with auth.

Economic preferences are more important than nationalistic/racial/societal preferences. You clearly are leftist economically

My Bloody Valentine - You Made Me Realise
Slowdive - Pygmalion
ITAOTS
The Microphones - The Glow, Pt. 2
The Pillows - Happy Bivouac

Lol all these leftists.

Elvis Costello - This Year's Model
Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures
Minutemen - Double Nickels on the Dime
Wire - Pink Flag
The Modern Lovers - The Modern Lovers

lol @ classcucks

check again lol, but yeah i'd always assumed most of Sup Forums was right wing, this thread i guess shows otherwise

Sup Forums is mostly left-wing, because it's one step lower (same step as most of Reddit) on the meme scale

There is a reason this is one of the boards with most shit taste

underage

>Dig Lazarus Dig - Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds
>Remain in Light - The Talking Heads
>Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not - Arctic Monkeys
>Nocturne - Wild Nothing
>Some Great Reward - Depeche Mode

Like it for the most part, I enjoy Carly Rae Jepsen and Danny Brown, but I just hate how whiny AJJ sounds all the time.

Can't say I'm really a fan of anything here, always found Sufjan kinda mediocre

Love Bowie and Iggy Pop, haven't given the others much of a listen.

Enjoy Slowdive, My Bloody Valentine and Slowdive are decent.

Forgot to post chart lel.

...

Def give the pop group a chance

Any particular album recs?

I actually made that "acceptable zone" based on the extent that I am at because I'm self-centered and think I'm the best obviously. Anyone further more extreme is obviously bad.

Also, I didn't take the political compass test that creates this chart, I just mapped it on this one because it's more common. I took a different test that had less confusing and biased questions.
gotoquiz.com/politics/political-spectrum-quiz.html

They only have 3, give their first a chance, its just called Y. youtube.com/watch?v=viqOIqGLLgI

98.12.28 男達の別れ
In the Court of the Crimson King
Loveless
The Book About My Idle Plot on a Vague Anxiety
Vision Creation Newsun

of course you think it's an acceptable zone if you use your own position to determine it
>openly displays and admits to bias
>uses a different quiz because muh bias

I'm just a self-aware shitposter, don't mind me.

But seriously, that quiz is better.

Ween - Pure Guava
Pink Floyd - Wish you Were Here
David Bowie - Low
Death Grips - The Powers That B
Talking Heads - Remain in Light

alright you seem decent enough then
go in peace shitposter-kun

all of these quizzes fucking suck to be honest. so many of these questions can't be distilled into "do you agree or not" also the way in which the questions are worded are much too vague. the only way you could make an accurate political compass is if you had some kind of perfect AI responding to essay style answers to these questions. i always get triggered taking these things.

I'm, like, dead center pretty much though. I'm not a leftist you dummy.

isidewith.com/political-quiz

This is the least bias political compass quiz that I found

>Kayo Dot - Dowsing Anemone with Copper Tongue
>Converge - You Fail Me
>Subrosa - More Constant than the Gods
>Aphrodite's Child - 666
>Rishloo - Living as Ghosts with Buildings as Teeth

I don't think I'm "the best", but I'll always make decisions based on what benefits me the most.

The problem with I side with is it limits you to the existing politicians so people like wont have a real reflection of their views

>only represents US politics
>least bias

>This
It's basically top-right only

>Mujician & Ingoma - Tribute to the Blue Notes
>This Mortal Coil - Original Versions (1983-1991 Box Set Disc 4)
>戸張大輔 - ギター
>Bob Patterson - Instrumentalist, Singer, Songwriter
>Herbie Hancock - Sextant

>tfw I'm a reactionary but this quiz puts me on the left because I'm protectionist

New Order
>power corruption and lies
Roxy Music
>avalon
Wire
>a bell is a cup
This Mortal Coil
>it'll end in tears
The Feelies
>crazy rhythms

gay
good taste retarded politics
aight
try hard
unironically kys (Songs from the Big Chair and Heaven or Las Vegas are good albums though)
LMAO DUDE WEEN
interesting
good

It chooses based off location. You can pick different countries or elections.

that doesn't change a god damn thing, if it only represents the political climate of a single given location, it's ridiculously biased

>pere ubu - dub housing
>fugazi - the argument
>iceage - you're nothing
>nomeansno - wrong
>einsturzende neubauten - kollaps

premiata forneria marconi
šarlo akrobata
you've probably listened to the birthday party, but if you haven't, do it
lsd and the search for god
pere ubu

Pretty much what this guy said, economically left opinions over power my more conservative social opinions.

Spiritualized - Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating in Space
Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures
Daft Punk - Discovery
Blur - Modern Life is Rubbish
Queens of The Stone Age - Songs For The Deaf

absolutely terrible politics but great taste and a great recommendation, so thanks

>only represents the political climate of a single given location
>global universalist politics
>2018
>tfw I don't fit neatly into any of the American party boxes as a right leaning deep ecologist

Sean Lennon - Friendly Fire
Wendy Carlos - Beauty in the Beast
Supergrass - I Should Coco
Women - Public Strain
Los Panchos - Cuatro Vidas

are you gonna link that faggot or what

also,
>sean lennon

so you contradict and enforce my point in the same post

it doesn't have the capacity to represent your views, that's my point dude, it's biased
it just redirects you to a handful of individuals who most closely reflect some of your leanings, it doesn't illustrate your personal stance

No shit but that reflects on the shitiness of politics as a whole and the impossibility of forming an efficient political organization that's not a big tent. Besides politics is incredibly local. Also not sure what you mean by "biased" because any discussion of political ideology on its terms is biased and political in its framing.

>Royal Blood
>Ween

you're completely right but we're talking in terms of relativity here
user posted isidewith as a less biased alternative to politicalcompass and which is ridiculous considering they at least attempt to represent your views on a universally applicable scale rather than feeding you into the american "shades of authoritarian" environment

im it gave me jill stein and i despise her

Alcatrazz - No Parole From Rock 'n' Roll
Europe - The Final Countdown
Helloween - Keeper of the seven keys part 1 and 2
Stryper - To Hell with the devil

Similar position with similar taste, checks out

>The Front Bottoms - Back on Top
>The Front Bottoms - Talon of the Hawk
>Lil Peep - crybaby
>Johnny Hobo - Love Songs for the Apocolypse
>Wicca Phase Springs Eternal - Secret Boy

Reference chart for those itt

I have right wing libertarian taste?

>also,
>>sean lennon
What about him?

>Jack Johnson - In Between Dreams
>Imagine Dragons - Smoke + Mirrors
>Arcade Fire - Reflektor
>Mumford and Sons - Babel
>Jason Mraz - We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things

>non judgemental karaoke

Copyright is a corporate practice, not governmental.

Weezer - Pinkerton
The Velvet Underground - White Light/White Heat
Talking Heads - Stop Making Sense
Nine Inch Nails - The Downward Spiral
these 5 albums aren't necessarily the ones i think are the best in the entire world, they're just the ones that click with me and elicit the most feeling out of me
